Massive random FPS drops

Happens infrequently. Sometimes at the beginning of a match sometimes at the boss wave

Summary/ Description:
The game suffers hugh frame rate drops at random intervals. Dropping all the way down to 6 FPS at times. it happens during waves and remains at low FPS for a while. Even inbetween waves (when nothing is really happening) and in menus. I changed all my video options to low except for gibs and it still happens; even though I normally can run it on ultra with little to no issue. I verified the files but nothing seemed to change. Unfortunately I do not know how to replicate this bug. It happens everytime I play no matter what I'm playing. I know it has happened as Firebug, Sharpshooter, Gunslinger, Support, and Berserker; so it's not just from fire like I initally thought. This has been ging on for a while and would really like some help. It gets so bad and unplayable that it turns me off from the game.

Turn the gibs off and you will get 60.
You can turn other options to higher settings.

I'm having the same problems, even with a GTX 1080! Gonna try disabling gibs too!

It's new memory leak, not the Nvidia Flex...

Turning gibs off seems to have fixed it but like I said It's kinda random. Will update if need be.

Looks like it fixed for me too! But I remember Gibs AND Fluids was working nice by the SWAT update!

i7 6700k and GTX 1080 here. Same issue - with gibs and fluids turned off, the game runs at ~150FPS, if not more. With it turned on, game runs at 30 and dips to 15. My friend with an identical rig has his settings maxed with no issue.

I believe they're talking about the FLEX settings in the video options.

ah ok .... i using minimal grafik details and the 1 - 3 matches be ok ..... and behind its so laggy !

It's happening to me too right now as I'm writing this, I'm playing in Ashwood (HoE) as berserker. I killed 4 slashers with one swing and I have the paint ball headshot FX active. Gibs are on too but no fluids. 12 frames per second makes it unplayable.

I noticed, It happens more when playing coop! Single player runs well.

This issue still persists. 2½ ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ years, Tripwire. TWO AND A HALF YEARS. And you still haven't fixed it. You guys are honestly useless. How can you even still be in business with such insanely poor support for your sub-par products?

Yeah, it still happens to my friend and I as well. We still haven't pinned down a cause. We thought it was a specific character (Alberts), but it turned out to not be him. Completely at a loss. I really hope they find a solution soon. It's a fantastic game, but this REALLY hurts it.
