First was after killing the boss and the game froze, second the game froze on me was after killing the last enemy and the wave has ended.
I had to jump out and end the exe from task manager since it became frozen state in minutes.
I doubt it's my pc since i have checked my temps are normal and i am playing on all low settings in borderless window mode even though i could support higher settings, plus this problem doesn't happen to other games only KF2.
Hopefully developers could read my message here and get it fixed as soon as possible. If not then i will regret my purchase =.=
The difference is that my game slowly reaches the frozen state and crash bug.
I start losing frames, then sounds start chopping, and I continue losing major frames until the game barely moves smoothly.
The cause of my problem is from a USB controller.
My recommendation is to disconnect everything USB except keyboard, mouse, and wireless internet card and try the game again.
Not sure what the specs and settings are in this case, try lowering some settings. Also, remember that some mods may cause performance issues. For example, playing on servers with maxplayers & maxzeds increased can be quite demanding.
First of all, thank you very much for your reply :) i really appreciate it since it shows that there're still developers here that care about their players who love the game.
And yes i have already did everything that you have recommended to me such as setting everything to lowest as possible to unplugging unnecessary components and i do not have any mods installed currently. Well to be honest i already did all of this at the day that i first noticed about the freezing problem.
And i would like to follow up regarding this freezing issue that i am encountering with, it looks like it might be borderless window setting causing it ever since switching to fullscreen mode i never had a single freeze for awhile now. so i guess it could solved :). I will let you know if the problem still persist and thank you very much for your time and help [TW]Molly i really appreciate it! :D
If you're interested i posted my review recently you could take a look on it. I will be updating it whenever KF2 is updated.
Dude you are a life saver. My PC just started crashing on klilling floor 2 and other games. I thought my gpu was dying. Upon reading this post I unplugged my oculus rift, 3 rift sensors and just like that I haven't crashed since. Never had a problem before leaving my rift plugged into the usb ports, but hey as of right now this solution works for me..
