Inventory and store empty - (More info)

I am able to see my cosmetic items and weapon skins in the steam inventory but not in the game. The in-game store is also empty. I saw that there was a solution that worked for a couple of people where I should opt out of steam beta. I am not part of any steam beta.

It only says 'You have no inventory items within the currently selected filter.' in the black box area where my cosmetic items should be on the screen when I look at my inventory (Of course, I've tried switching filters, it does not help) and the store is just an empty black box (as in no text at all).

Any suggestions to this tedious problem? Really sucks.



EDIT: Prior to this problem I had KF2 crash my computer (I've read about people having the same issue when they've experienced power outages). The problem was that the game simply wouldn't start and would instead redirect me to a bug report.

I solved this through Tripwire Interactive's Support tip number one on the subject:

'1) Delete your documents/my games/Killing Floor 2/ folder directory completely'


Could the solution to the first problem cause the second issue in some way?

If your entire inventory is missing it is likely the game is having trouble communicating with Steam. Often restarting the game fixes this but sometimes refreshing your Steam install is the solution:

exuse me,but i cleared download cache and it doesnt solve my porblem,store is empty and inventory empty too with massage "you haven't inventory items within the currently selected filter"(filters stay "ANY" everywehere) plz help

i have the same and done all of that, including pc and steam restarts ... still no inventory but the things i am already wearing and rank is still fine just no store and no inventory

same here all in game inventory is not there on the home page, in gear options the cosmetics are applicable.

since their is a developer that ducked in this thread im gonna add my name to that pile, happened earlier today, unfortunately even after 5 hour wait, restart, validation of files and steam cache clear i still have no inventory items, thought in my steam inventory it still displays them just not in game.
just a little bit more info it seems the vault dosh icon has disappeared from the vault counter. dont know if that weird tidbit might help or not

same problem here,and the game deactivate all my weapon skins,i'm not able to re-apply them at the moment.

also the in-game STORE page result empty..i'm not able to see nothing to purchase.

Same issue and had it for >1 year. In my case first launch after the update i get the store and inventory, I use this time to equip the gear I acquired during the previous quarter. Then no luck. If it was a connectivity issue related to my PC then why would it work on the 1st launch after an update?
