Killing Floor 2 not downloading properly
Ok so, one day my PC decides to uninstall KF2, great.
You guys know when you download a game there's this phase which tells you "Creating local game files..." and a bar which tells you how the game has been downloading so far?
Yeah, when I re-downloaded KF2, the bar gets stuck on the Local Files phase, its stuck at a point where 3 more "blue bars" are needed to download. Been waiting for 2 hours and still no progress.
Need help tackling this issue

It's a corrupt file. It's the error of my problem every single time. There is corruption somewhere in the delivery from them > steam > you. No matter how many times you try and fix it, it will always result with whatever corrupt file that's causing it. Seems to be affecting only a handful, but I have not been able to load the game since the update.

Isn't a fix and you can't. Its a file being delivered to you. If the file is never fixed it will constantly be delivered. I've reinstalled it about 35x and sent over a 100 crash logs.ll resulted in the same error. We are in a small minority of people that TW isn't bothering with. I have seen no mention of this by any rep, yet there are multiple threads about the bugsplats (startup and crashes) after the update. It doesn't look good from a customer standpoint. Priorities are clearly elsewhere.

does your log say"

This error is typically associated with an incomplete or corrupt game install. It's highly recommended to verify your game cache in Steam. Right-click on KF2 in Steam Library > Properties > Local Files > Verify Integrity

because thats the issue and you will never fix it on your end since all files are there and verify.

No, what I meant was when I was DOWNLOADING it. Not UPDATING.
