Everyone is use server browsing.
We are supposed to use matchmaking and is it SUPPOSED to work. The fact this has never been taken seriously by the developers is a crying shame as it ruins the experience for a lot of us!

Uh no....Noone ever ASKED for that useless thing since it was implanted in Early Access and NOONE has asked for PvP.....

Also, is it really so hard for you to learn how to use the Steam Overlay to send a game invite?
When you click on Server Browse, there is something called "Create Party" on the right clear as day yet blind to many.
Not to mention the Filter tab called "Friends" so you know where your "Friends" are.\
Its called Having Basic Common Sense.
Is that what you're claiming?
