Lost all perk progress

So I had a level 19 medic (almost 20), level 4 gunslinger, level 16 or 17 demo, 10 or 11 support.

Earlier tonight I started playing with my friend and everything was reset to 0. I've tried restarting the game, steam, and my computer. I've verified local game cache. I haven't tried deleting and reinstalling the game yet.

Additional info: I was on the preview build. Right before my perks got reset to 0, I was in a server where the team voted to move onto a custom map (a biotics lab remake from KF1, I think) and that was the first time I've been on a custom map. Maybe related?

Has anyone experienced this before? Any suggestions on how I can get my progress back?

A player data is stored in the cloud so you/the game had just temporal connection issues.

I've the same problem. All of my levels are back except my gunslinger lvl 24 and medic lvl 25. They both still on level 0 even if I play them. Here what they say about the problem. http://support.tripwireinteractive.com/KB/View/768-perks-fail-to-progress-or-reset-to-zero---

Thanks folks. Today I got my support and demo perks back but unfortunately my medic is still at 0. I wonder if that's because I played half a game at level 0 medic before I realized my perks had reset, and my "progress" at level 0 overwrote my level 19 progress? In any case, according to your link @Sowinski:

If some of your perks have gone to 0 but not all of them or they appear to no longer be progressing at all it is likely that your stats have become corrupted and the game is failing to update them. The only way to fix this is to reset your stats on Steam.

So if I understand this correctly, the only fix for perks being reset to 0 is to reset back to 0?

Update for those curious. I wasn't able to save any progress on my level 0 medic, so my situation was the one described in the link shared by @Sowaski:

I bit the bullet and reset all my perks back to zero, and spent a few hours here and there grinding on a perk leveling map to get back to where I was before on medic.

Needless to say, I'm pretty annoyed with Tripwire for this, but still enjoy the game enough to soldier through.

played last night no problems

i'll wait a bit and try again, but i've already tried the relaunch game to get a different connection method and nothing...
