Controller not working.

Started game and no controller functions working. Worked perfect before update, Tested it on other games and big picture mode, works perfect. The lack of selection in the menu to enable or disable in KF2 interface is not even present. 360 controller fwiw.

same problem here. Controller is no longer recognized. I am using Steam controller and the Steam Overlay is enabled.

It worked the first time I launched the game, but everytime after it is not recognized.

Hey
Love the game, played it heaps at a mates, just got it, now cant play it. Why ? Because I use an xbox controller and since the last update no controller I use seems to be recognised by your program. I have tried solutions as advised by community but none seem to work.
Please Help

Same issue. Controller works in the splash screens but the main menu I have to use a Mouse for and anything beyond that. Options menu works in general but there's nothing to toggle the controller on.

I'll give restarting a shot in just a few minutes. I've had some things act tempermental on here, even before purchasing.

Restarted the computer and it recognizes the controller. Thanks Spalding! Sometimes the little'ist suggestions are the biggest of help

I've restarted game and PC, controller works fine with all other programs but continues to not work with KF2. Worked fine about 2 or 3 months ago before the big update recently.

Restarted. DIsconnected all other controllers. Deleted KFinput file. Still no function. I can skip the splash screens with the controller like normal, but the minute I get to the menu the controller is dead both in menu and in game. Is anyone acknowledging this problem or am I an island here? Googling this has produced results at best 6 months old, I've tried those fixes anyway to no avail. This is clearly a new bug from the new content patch a month or so ago.

I don't know what to tell you man, restarting for me did the trick. Not sure why that hasn't worked for you, hope a solution comes up or a dev reads this thread to help you out.

Opposite thing for me, I don't have a controller plugged in but the game is stuck in controller mode, can't change any options with mouse, game is broken.

i have an xbox elite controller wired that stopped working so i started using a dual shock 4 via bluetooth then that stopped working, so i bought an xbox one adapter n it still would not work.
it was ONLY with this game, so i uninstalled kf2 n now it works.
