No "complete your bundle" deal?

I can't buy the Ultimate version because I already own the game and the upgrade is more expensive than the ultimate because it has a lower discount (75% vs 87%)

Could the ultimate deal be a complete your collection deal or at least have the same discount for the upgrade? Thanks.

True! Make it a Blue Bundle instead! I also can't buy it for 11$ which is cheaper than the DLC itself that goes for 14$ (CAD). You essentially get penalized if you supported the game in the past so you gotta buy the DLC at a higher price, it makes zero sense.

I'm glad I am not the only one who thought this, I bought this when it came out and had a blast. I'd play more if this price thing wasn't the case. I shouldn't be charged more for owning the game, hell i helped them get OUT of early access almost a decade ago by buying it. I probably could just get the bundle, but this is just annoying enough for me to possibly not buy it, and wait for more info on KF3.

That sale price is from you owning KF2, if you remove the game the bundle will probably cost more again.

Depends on when you bought the game, it probably cost more anyway to buy that bundle even if you remove it.

No. The image I linked is the price shown when you do NOT login to steam.

It is just straight-up cheaper to buy the game + bundle VS owning the game then buying the DLC. Anyone is free to check for themselves.

Yeah this has been bugging me for a long time. I'll have to pay 10.99€ for the ultimate edition upgrade, but can buy the Ultimate Edition bundle for 9.28€, it's a bit insane to make old customers pay more, or jump trough loops like purchasing the Ultimate Edition as a gift and redeeming it yourself. So... I haven't bought it out of principle

I submitted a ticket with their support about this earlier, and they've forwarded it to the devs to look into. It only occurred to me afterwards that people might be chatting about it on forums too...

So yea, I hope they end up changing it to a "Complete The Set" bundle type.
At the moment it would be cheaper for me to permanently remove KF2 from my library and then re-purchase the Ultimate Bundle, than just buying the Ultimate Upgrade by itself.

You can't remove games from your library, you can only hide them (it was possible many years ago through the Steam Support, but not anymore). And Steam Store will still detect them on your account not allowing to purchase the second time.

Sure its cheaper, but now you spend more in total. It might be just me but that sucks either way.

You need to re-evaluate that math of yours. You're not spending more in total.
