So what you are saying is that if a scrake, stands in the grenade, for the entire duration, it will take 20 seconds to kill it as long as every single tick hits it. Also, why is this even an argument? The odds of a scrake standing in a grenade for every single hit for that duration isn't logical, there's no reason anyone would only use grenades to kill a scrake, medic grenade does not cause the scrake to stumble which keeps them off other players.

Support Grenades are good for dealing a high amount of damage, instantly, Medic grenade are good for area of denial/healing team mates but having a scrake stand in it on HoE is completely illogical. Numbers are not everything. Try doing your method while the scrake is moving and you will see that BOTH grenades aren't gunna be overly effective for killing it since it will rip your guts out before you can toss enough out. Otherwise you can be a medic and kite one for 2-3 minutes letting it get hit by a single tick of the grande mist.

OP is obviously just a troll deep down, why oh why is KF2 filled with idiots like this. Can't there be one worthwhile discussion for once?

Gotta love how everyone and their mother loads up KF2 in test environments thinking they've discovered something that is out of whack. Unlike reality where these things are not nearly as easy or realistic.

-Parry FP + 10 Pulverizer shots to the head in HoE like that's ever going to happen
-Scrake circle jerk OP despite people not realizing how easy it is to goof and the 1 hit instant kill that can happen
-Hans medic/melee cheese despite the dangers

If it isn't one thing it's another.
nice test environment video that proves absolutely nothing. test environment videos are never proof of anything. try harder.
this is clearly another troll thread and OP proved it by posting a testmap video.
i think there needs to be an IQ limit to access the forums
Damage from healing grenades stack, and circlestrafing hasn't been patched out yet. All you need to do is throw 1-2 healing grenades at your feet, step right when a scrake tries to hit you, then hug him while rotating counter-clockwise around him while emptying your weapons into him. The scrake will be dead before the grenade/s run out.
Healing grenades ARE very powerful right now against scrakes due to circlestrafing, however once that is patched they should be just powerful enough as is.
Oh, and check the math of the guy above, medic grenades are definitely the most powerful grenade. whether that's a bad thing or not I'm not going to argue, but you'd have to be reaching pretty far to say they aren't the most powerful and useful grenades. Personally I don't think they need a nerf, medic weapons are comparatively weak to other classes, it's not a crime that their grenades would be more powerful.

this ^
Numbers =/= reality. A grenade that does 1 damage per tick but lasts 6000 seconds would deal more damage than a medic grenade, correct? Math says it is, reality says that is wrong. Congratz you can circle strafe a scrake but A) you just said that is getting patched out and B) Odds of finding a team where that is practical is slim.

So how about :

or even

Is that untestlike test enough for you? Pretty much if people are posting this stuff then they're good enough to leave scrakes/FPs alive for last. Don't disregard something because it's a test environment.

Parrying FPs is not as bad as you think. The damage is less than scrakes and as it's a quick multihit even if you get hit by the first hit you can still parry stun them. On top of that a Parry counts as a hit to you so the stun will reset immediately. The only time you can get unlucky is if the FP decides to jump as that is un-stunable but you can negate a hit by parrying one of the two hits.

Scrake circling is one of the easiest things to do, even if you screw up he still swings at nothing and you can get right up to his backside again. I still am expecting this to get patched up asap.

Hans circling is easier than a scrake. Always run in while he's throwing nades (zoning him properly). The only solo danger is making sure you don't get flanked when he's life leeching. Try to get him to grab you as he's climbing stairs, then heal + clear mobs.

*edit* oh you were referring to OP's video. I didn't even bother clicking that...

all of this is only possible because they are using well known bugs and exploiting the ai which isn't going to matter when the bugs get fixed and the ai gets tuned so its irrelevant to whether or not the medic grenades are op

Please be aware that those videos were made for when current exploits are gone. The scrake kill is a non-circle method including a full wave run so people don't just immediately say do that in a real game.

The 1v11 only killing 1 is showing how useful furious defense is.

The only exploit is you'll never get 11 scrakes in a solo match. You going to disregard my videos because of that?

I have to point out I saw multiple times where the Scrake hit you in the first video and no damage was taken. Not sure what was going on with that, but I get your point with the stumble effect and the Zerk ability.

When people say a "real match" they don't mean on a normal map with a player mod. They mean play with actual people and realize how the mechanics of the gameplay change. They still may have some relevance, but they aren't always the most practical. Just something to keep in the back of your mind.

It does bother me that people assume for TWI that taking advantage of the programmed AI is somehow not legit (i.e. Scrake circling). It's not as easy as it sounds in a full match even on Hard and to counter people thinking it's cheap. Play with me and I guarantee you'll see the glitch where if you mess up and he hits you the chainsaw animation stays stuck in you and your health drains faster than a medic's assault rifle can charge.

Literally had a full team on HoE the other day say, "WTF just happened" after watching me with 150/150 go to 6 HP in 2 seconds before they killed it when I thought I was dead. Must be the only one pointing that out or witnessing it.
