List of things you do and do not like about KF2.
Be sure to list why, if possible.

I'll only list things I don't like:

Hans (it's not that he's hard, it's that I find him boring and that he could use a few changes to make him more fun to fight while still providing challenge.)

Doors open when Hans or a Husk shoot at you.

Sprinting. It just looks weird.


That's it on all my dislikes. Everything I either like or am indifferent to.

Lists of dislike:

Hans can be easily cheesed, so probably some more moves to spice him up.

Less Zed Time perks and some more actual useful perks at 25.

The thing I don't like is the buggy as hell Zed grab thing where if you get three you are not able to do anything you are basically stunned and your aim is gone out the window.

-teleporting zeds

-low door hp

-doors don't respawn

-zerker class does too little damage

-they take really long time for updates

The perks are pretty boring. For example "20% extra starting ammo". That only helps for the first wave so it's pretty "whatever" imo. Also some of them are recycled over to other classes. It would be nice to have abilities or more interesting passive abilities because there's no motivation to level up exept for a few useful perks like starting armor for medics.

I rather take that over supplier for non HOE any day since I'm usually the only good player on the team and the rest of my teamates will die before they run out of ammo, gonna need that 20% to solo the wave till boss.

My opinion that's based mostly on Suicidal pubs with randoms:

-Zed teleportation feels really cheap. Most of the time you die to it, you feel not overwhelmed (like you should) but cheated.
-Medic's crazy movement speed, coupled with his overall class strength that lets him outrun raged SC/dodge some of FP attacks. That should not happen. These 2 zeds are game's penultimate enemy after all.
-Zerker, on the other hand needs some serious buffs. It's a joke how a melee class can be and is easily killed when he tries to fight point blank.
-Most of perk skilltrees need complete overhaul, there are many absurd unneeded abilities or uneven choices.
-Welding doors is useless in current meta.
-Reloading delay, when animation finishes/you hear the click of a new magazine going in, switch weapons only to find later that it didn't register.
-Hans Volter. The concept is great, but there are a lot of bothersome aspects, such as: his deadly melee lock, when he keeps running and slashing a single player leaving him little to no chance to survive, even if there's a medic nearby; gas grenades with stacking damage (3 grens on HoE'll literally kill you in mere 2 seconds) and his ridiculous aimbot MGs, that he shoots while walking. Either make him stationary or increase spread.

There are lots of balancing issues, but that's what EA is for, right?

There's ammo boxes. If they respawn on HoE difficulty, that 20% doesn't do much.

Nice to see somone actully being constructive with this concept.

i'll throw my hat in with the zed teleport, i don't want it to go away but make it mmmm....i guess not so close to the players, or behind them lol.

Scrake HP scaling is weird, seems too low with 1 person and too high with 6 ppl, unless they're going to make the FP waaaaay harder, they seem to similar.(howerver i should mention i did post this in feedback awhile ago)

Support reload skill at lvl15, maybe move this to lvl10, shell loading shotty need some help at lower lvl's due to the low penetration rate at these lvl's.

Bezerker, needs some of it's skills and perks tweaked/changed, i have to agree that i needs more defence against siren and bloats bile ATLEAST.

O yeah, the support suppliers skill, needs a glowing green backpack thats the same glowing as the ammo pickups so ppl know you even have it lol.

Can't think oif anything else at the moment.

I really like KF2 as it is.

What I don't like currently hasn't been said already:

-Field Medic being absolutely ridiculous;

-Welding doors being kind of useless;

-Fleshpound just being random meat shields and being easier to deal with than Scrakes;

-Current procedure to fight Hans being very weird and as result not intuitive (letting him catch you otherwise he is invincible);

-Crap skills for Berserker? He's good if you're not facerolling on the keyboard but compared to other perks he could use a shine;

-Few voice commands

Likes:

-Updated graphics
-Gore system
-Having different bosses (not yet in but will be)
-Leveling up system (leveling was a common complaint in KF1, glad to see a more consistent and rewarding leveling system)
-Having actual running animations instead of speed walking animations for zeds (something that was just funny looking in KF1)
-Sprinting (people don't like sprinting, voicing common arguements that it feels like CoD or doesn't feel like KF1 or is noobish bull. I think these people just want to resist change as much as possible, short of just having updated graphics and more content to make KF2 a virtually exact copy of KF1 and have no real progession or evolution of the franchise.

I like sprinting, because it makes gameplay and movement more fluid and intuitive. This is 2015. Sprinting in fps games is about as common and accepted as having guns in fps games. We're not stuck with out dated limited mechanics from an engine made in 2002. I see sprinting as a good natural improvement of the gameplay to replace power walking with a knife out that wasn't even a unique characteristic nor an important aspect of KF1.

Dislikes:

-Perks need more balancing (support and medic are kings, berserker is underpowered)
-Wonky and stiff player and zed animations (player sprinting has exaggerated hand movements and need more work on better running animations. Players reloading have stiff body movement and a clear cutoff of upper and lower body animations.)
--Zeds still don't have animations for traversing objects. (It's extremely annoying to be shooting at a zed and then it magically teleports on top of a railing or car then off to get to you causing you to miss shots not to mention the zed looking ridiculous like it's glitching.)
-Not enough zed variety or animations. (Get's ridiculous seeing a dozen completely identical clots or gorefasts coming at you with identical walking animations in rhythm like seeing a dance routine.)
-Performance optimizations. (of course)
- Needs more content. (will eventually work out)
-Gibbing is currently limited to dead zeds and is strictly limited on living zeds (blowing off faces or jaws). (would like to see the ability to shoot off arms or legs while still having the zed coming at you)
-Ragdoll deaths are ludicrous looking to me. Would rather see death animations that transition to ragdoll bodies with straight to ragdoll deaths limited to certain situations like explosion launches.

This is my first tripwire game, and I absolutely love it, totally worth the buy<3

Likes:
-Multiple ammo check animations
-Good graphics
-Well optimized (runs even on my toaster <3)
-Gore System
-Even trash mobs can kill you if you don't take care of them

Dislikes:
-Currently berserker is weaker than the other perks.
-The AA-12, while awesome, is just too powerful.
-Enemies can't climb objects, they teleport on top instead.
-Hans can wall hack with his guns.
-Sometimes fleshpounds and scrakes teleport a few feet ahead.

Speaking of this, I actually encountered an instance where said fleshpounds and scrakes died during the teleportation.

-Game is getting too futuristic. For instance, what is up with the new trader? It feels so out of place. What's next? Laser weapons? The Berserker's Buzzsaw weapon irritates me as well.

KF1 had a space station (canon) and cyberpunk guns.

Dislikes:

1. Teleporting Zeds - breaks the game, feels cheap
2. Sprint- redundant function, liked knfie running better, sprint feels clunky
3. Doors being useless- see teleporting zeds
4. weird lag even with low ping in multiplayer- self explantory

Everything else.
