Alright, Tripwire. What's with all the Christian metal?

At first I thought it was only Demon Hunter, but then I looked up the other bands I'd never heard of. Living Sacrifice, Impending Doom, Fit for a King are ALL Christian metal--and they're all integrated in the game in a way that constantly advertises them. Even one of the characters says they'd rather be at a Demon Hunter concert. And even if you turn off the music, you still see the tracks popping up.

Nothing like hearing these lyrics from "Murderer" by Impending Doom while you're slaughtering waves of monsters:

The anti christ is gonna rise and we’ll

So are these monsters the work of Satan, and we're all wielding the power of "the Lord" to destroy them? Is that why you included a priest character as well? Of all the wealth of non-religious affiliated metal bands you could have picked from, you selected only Christian bands. Can't help but think you've got an agenda going here.

I listen without vocals. And wouldn't care even if I did. Game's about popping zeds in the head, and watching the results in slow motion. There's no agenda here.

I wasn't aware that because the band is religious it effects the game? i am not religious AT ALL, but i think they did a pretty damn good job with the music, why would you listen to it with vocals anyway.

acutally those bands are TWI leaders friends metal bands and seems to be one hell of a promotion for them. There is nothing bad about christian metal, do i believe in god no but power to those who do. Pretty sure if you listen to As I lay Dying same ♥♥♥♥ they are a christian metal band to

I kind of think so. There are two kinds of gamers: those who listen with vocals, and those that don't. Some enjoy the words, whereas others enjoy those sick-guitar riffs and 1000BPM Bass drops.

I think they did great with the music, kinda wish they'd throw in some Disciple (more christian metal for those who don't know.) If you don't like the music just mute the in game music and use the steam overlay to play your own tunes (which I have done when I wasn't in the mood for demon hunter).
