Crosshair size
Hello is there a way to change crosshair size? I want it to be smaller. Maybe a console command or something.

It's under Gameplay in the options menu. It's off by default.

Yeah, i'd love if you could change it like in CS:GO

Wait for workshop support.

The "proper way" is the way you make it for yourself. And some people need a crosshair, like those that have motion sickness.

The crosshair doesn't help.

Pretty sure free aim exists in this game. Would explain why they had to make it so huge

Need to look at the code, but I'm lazy

Proper way? If i watch a support miss every hipshot all day long (all too often), i'd rather my ally turn on his crosshair then waste all the ammo boxes.

The crosshair ain't even accurate, so there's that. The shots seem to go where your barrel points.

The crosshair is intentionally made to be wide so players are forced to use sights for precise aiming.

If you can't hit with hip fire then git gud. You can see the bullet trails so if you miss the first shot just adjust your aim by following the old bullet trail to hit the head. Also the crosshair is ugly as ♥♥♥♥ and it's the same as in Red Orchestra 2 that they made earlier. If you use a crosshair in this game you are doing it wrong.

lamo, since when does not having a crosshair cause motion sickness? x)

When I'm getting KF2 I'll enable crosshair because it's a free adventage. So why not use it. I don't feel like there is much difference to the feel of the game besides aiming is a tad easier

So, back to the topic at hand. Is there a way to set the crosshairs the size, color, & thickness you want them to be?

Pretty sure the source & core of the Crosshair are present in the SDK , you could try to export and edit it in Photoshop and overwrite the existing file in the gamefolder afterwards.

They changed the settings for the skins last patch so i don't know whether your game will crash when trying to launch with a custom crosshair.

You could also try and port any crosshair into the SDK and just overwrite the current Crosshair with that.

Didn't test that myself since i hate Crosshairs with my Guts but that should work.

The crosshair is just designed as a reference point for the centre of the screen, it doesn't help you aim precisely. And bullets do always go in the centre of the screen. when I shoot a single shot of any commando weapon it always goes right inot the centre of the screen.
