FPS Stutter after using push to talk key?

I do not know why this happens but every time a second after using the voice chat button in a game my game will hiccup for a second only once. It's pretty annoying and I just want to know if it's a bug or not. I mostly run the game at 60 fps, only drops a bit when fighting the boss or a lot of enemies on screen, but its overall always smooth.
PC Specs:
NVIDIA GTX 750 Ti
Intel i5 3470 3.20 GHz
8 GB RAM

Install new GPU drivers, if newest then install audio drivers from motherboard manufacturer's website

Why would my hardware be the problem? My specs are more than enough to run the game... I'm not even on max settings or anything

Yeah same, it micro stutters the game for up to 3-4 seconds and then it'll stop stuttering and work as normal. Then when i stop talking and wait for a few minutes and push to talk, it'll stutter again. Really annoying bug since i just won't use voice chat. Using a logitech branded webcam/microphone. It works fine in every other co op game, just freezes the game like its loading something in the background whenever i PTT in KF2

Probably both. Reinstalling windows should help if you don¨t want to wait for a patch.

Voice chat button for me freezes the game, then eventually losses connection to the server.

However, it may be a combination of things plus my internet speed. Althrough I have not problems playing pings. Takes a while to establish connections to TeamSpeak, but voice is fine and Skype (mic always on) works fine while playing game.

Borderlands 2 freezes up for a few seconds as well when using in game chat. (and that was when I had 12Mbps/1Mbps)

Speedtest.net 4Mbps/1.2Mbps, 38 ms.

So it stopped for a few days and now its doing it again. It's just a second of stutter after using the push to talk key. Quite annoying, I thought they fixed it in the other day's patch... guess not.

I never had this problem before, but after a KF2 event update I have it. and then after another update its gone and now its back

oh opps sorry didnt notice the date on it. Well anyways, just solved the problem, I just alt tab out of the game and alt tab back in , killed bootstrapper and forced it to restart, now its good now, no more stutteres on mic use. TY, hope this helps for anyone who might have same issue.

Adjusting mouse sensitivity sliders? Drop the FPS.
Finished the round? Drop the FPS.

happens to me too. I guess it's just the nvida graphics chip or something related to it as are 90% of gameplay problems since they seem ti be related to comp. specs. and hardware
