My Server always gets "error opening file" with custom maps [SOLVED]

I'm running my own server. Got everything to work but custom maps always get "error opening file".

First I was using my own redirect. Thought it was me so I tried some others that people posted including:

http://files.subglobal.net/kf2/

http://ni7495_11.fastdownload.nitrado.net/maps/

http://skillzservers.com/kf2-redirect/

Others seem to be redirecting to them fine on other servers but my server always gets "error opening file".

I have placed the redirect links in "PCServer-KFGame.ini" as such:
[IpDrv.HTTPDownload]
RedirectToURL=http://skillzservers.com/kf2-redirect/


Solutions I have tried:
-validating server with steamcmd
-validating my own game cache
-having all map names in lowercase in all five locations (redirect server,map cycle list, KFMapSummary, MapName, server CookedPC/Maps)

Annoying workaround that works:
-manually downloading the map and placing it in my CookedPC/Maps folder of MY GAME (not server) allows me to connect to the server and play the map


Can anyone help me?

EDIT SOLVED: I was placing the redirect in the PCServer-KFGame.ini instead of the PCServer-KFEngine.ini. Special thanks to TloЯds for helping me figure it out

Hello Scribbs, i got this also couple of weeks back on my server, the thing was this:

Example:

[KF-BurningParis KFMapSummary]
MapName=KF-BurningParis
ScreenshotPathName=UI_MapPreview_TEX.UI_MapPreview_Paris

Custom maps:
[kf-hotelzed_betav4-2.kfm KFMapSummary]
MapName=kf-hotelzed_betav4-2.kfm
ScreenshotPathName=UI_MapPreview_TEX.UI_MapPreview_Placeholder

The difference is in the last command line, dont write the mapname in the Placeholder.
And i using also skillzservers for redirect, and see how the maps are the same name frome skillz his server.I did it like in the standard maps and always error.
Hope this helps.Only thing is i have a rented server frome gameservers and there i have to upload the maps to my ftp.But redirect is the same.

I indeed did have the map name in the MapPreview_Placeholder AND I wasn't using the .kfm extension for MapName.

However I am still getting the same error after changing these.

Any other ideas?

If anyone would like to try testing if they can download the maps from my server for some reason it is:
"Custom Maps -- Beta Testing"
HoE difficulty
Map kf-ut_deck16_v2
7 waves
**The server is up 90% of time except when I am tweaking things and restarting the server to try and get downloads to work so just refresh server list if you dont see it**

Weird, maybe this one then:

On skillz redirect :'KF-Gladiator_Arena.kfm'
Correct name: KF-Gladiator_Arena.kfm

Its something to do with the correct name's of the maps imo.If you connect to skillz his ftp, check the map names,outherwise i see no answer m8.

This map is 2nd from bottom on skillz redirect server here: http://skillzservers.com/kf2-redirect/

I also double check with my own redirect server here: http://172.254.58.120/

They seem identical to me but still getting the error.

Ok thx, hmm not out dated this map?? I always look at the date when its uploaded, maybe there is a new map frome deck 16 ? Try maybe with a outher map, i got kf-hotelzed_betav4-2.kfm running now, try this one.

Still getting the error.

TloЯds could you post your "PCServer-KFGame.ini" file and I could try running my server on it. I would like to narrow down possibilities of what in the world is causing this error
