Difference between Clot, Cyster and Slasher?
Is there even one? Or just the health?

They vary gameplay wise. Cysts are more clumsy version of the middle level clot. Slashers move a bit faster and do more damage.

Why are you asking this when the difference is the obvious behaviour and attack patterns? Lets not forget that on Suicidal and HoE Clots end up becoming mini gorefasts, they more or less do a flurry of slash attacks. While the slasher becomes far more aggressive an damaging, also they end up rolling a lot more..

No need to be a ♥♥♥♥ about it. It's a reasonable question.

I'm asking him a reasonable question as well, because i am curious how you can't see the obvious traits each one has.

I'd agree with this guy right here. Seems about right. the cysts are so cute with how much they tumble.

No, you were being condescending for no reason, and entirely unhelpful.
If you say so, even though my question is just as much as a question that OP has. Because even if you shoot then ask questions later, you can still see patterns in their behaviour.

If you've played even a single round of KF2 then the basic difference is pretty easily visible. Different animations, different looks, etc.
In higher difficulties, they have different attack speeds (clots will punch you repeatedly, clots will fall over after a single strike, slashers will claw at you faster than clots), different movesets (slashers, in particular, will do a combat roll and slouch in order to stay underneath the general head level of other clots, as well as covering its face with its arms to avoid being headshot), different sprint animations (cysts sprint upright and sprint slower than all the other zeds, and are easy to headshot - clots lower their stance when sprinting and are thus slightly harder to headshot - slashers will spaz out and charge at you, as well as incorporating rolls into their charge, making them very difficult to headshot), and different "grab" reactions (clot will start biting you pretty soon after it grabs you, cyst will rear its head backwards and give you a moment to get free without getting damaged when grabbing you, and slashers will claw you to pieces pretty much instantly after grabbing you). They all have the same health, however.

Thank you. This actually answers the original question thouroughly.

Cysts are essentially Clots that haven't cooked long enough. Clots are complete. Slashers look like clots that simply had a bit more work done on them.
WalrusJones Apr 27, 2015 @ 1:40pm
Cysts are the ones with the black growths instead of eyes, they rarely grab, have a slow walk, and are very easy to headshots.

Clots are the most human looking ones with the more open stances, they are faster, grab more, and move their head around more actively.

Slashers are the ones that cover their face with their hands, will always try to grab you, and are annoyingly fast.
Voelkar Apr 27, 2015 @ 1:42pm
Well maybe I should have told you that I want to know something about their "skills" (?) not their look or behavior ^^
WalrusJones Apr 27, 2015 @ 1:43pm
On normal difficulties, their abilities don't vary too much.

On hard, slashers enjoy the ability to break out in a sprint if left wounded.

On HOE, I know that clots have a frontflip move.

I haven't payed too much attention outside of this.

If it was obvious I highly doubt he'd be asking it.
And it was a valid question, I learned a few things myself.
Based on your other posts around here you sound like a fkn know it all
Do you use a ladder or maybe a parachute when you leave your high horse?
