a litle bit poor. There should be a lead shot mode and a mode where only one big, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bullet is shot.
That's....not how the AA12....or any shotgun....works.
At all....
Not even a little bit
corrected.
The Kel-tec KSG (inspiration for the HSG-1 in KS1) and a few other shotguns allow you to alternate which feed tube shells come from. This would potentially allow you to switch between slugs and regular shot.
By changing the ammunition, of course....
but the game is so realstic, so it would not matter if the ammunition in changed magical in the drum mag xD
Of course, the damage was sub-par compared to the other shotguns on offer, so it was often left at the tight-spread fire mode. The reason why it was even used widely (and often by medics) was because it was lighter then the other shotguns (only 6 KG compared to the base shotgun's 8 KG)
Mossberg has a tactical conversion for their 12ga 8805...this conversion supports a 40 round drum-style mag.....near the top of the drum (about 2in left of the weapons reciver) there is a little slide open pannel designed to facilitate emergancy reloading of the weapon without taking the drum off.....it COULD (in theory) be used to inject shels of different type into the firing order.
If you can do it with a real shotgun I dint see why its such a far-fetch for one in a video game.
Granted this would NOT be ideal in anyway...and would take some time to pull of...allbeit less than changing drums.
