Will I have fun as a solo player
So I've never played KF1 before, but this looks quite interesting. Is it designed so that solo players will have fun, or is it really team based where everyone needs to have communication. I'm just asking because I dont have very many PC friends, and non of them play KF.

Solo feels very very lonely. It really is a game made for playing with others.

Luckily the community is very nice and it's great fun to just play with random people.

The number of zeds, and their HP is scaled down if you're alone, so it's still fine to play Solo.
but it's more fun (opinion) to play with others.

kf2 starts at hard mode, normal is really missing a lot of stuff in enemy attacks and animations.

you dont need to communicate, just joina game online and shoot the bad guys, its all about fun and when you play online on hard or higher the battle is INTENSE.

I actually have a lot of fun solo. It's really frantic, giving you a good feeling that you are barely surviving.

That being said, it's a lot of fun with friends too. Ask around for other players, or add people you enjoyed playing with in random lobbies.

solo has it moments...with friends its better though...if you are looking for a solo only experience i'd suggest wait for a sale. the game is really good though even with pugs...

Thanks for the responses! I think I might get this game and just play with some randoms. Its only $30 anyways, so as long as I get a few hours out of it than ill be happy.

Yeah solo is good for practice or if you just want a quick few rounds, but multiplayer is where the real fun is. Don't worry about playing with strangers, it really doesnt matter in this game (after a couple of rounds you'll see what I mean), as everyone needs everyone else to survive. Just dont run off on your own. The killing floor community has always been really friendly in my experience.

You dont need to be chatting over mic. There are built in communications for the simple stuff like requesting ammo or money. Also the characters talk alot on their own shouting useful stuff out. Just stick with team mates and do your best not to block people... and most importantly, have fun!
I play a lot of solo. I like it. It can be really hard though because no one has your back. But it feels epic when you survive. Like YEAHH I did that all by myself.

I use solo only for "training", i agree with all others that game shines at online part.
TWI games' communities are always nice, so have a seat and enjoy.

Solo is only good if you want to learn the maps and test out how the guns feel. After a few minutes, head immidiately online, becouse the solo experience is none-existent, this is meant to be played in 6 player coop online.
