This really helped me get very smooth gameplay!

So yeah ... been fiddling around with the config files and made some small changes that really made such a massive difference for me.

Config files are located in "Documents/My Games/KillingFloor2/KFGame/Config"
*backup files just to be sure*

Do a search (ctrl+f) for "smooth" in "KFGame.ini" and change the following values into:

MaxSmoothedFrameRate=120.000000
MinSmoothedFrameRate=60.000000

Do the same for "KFInput.ini" and change the value into:

bEnableMouseSmoothing=false

Finally I disabled "variable framerate" in video options.

I don't know if this works for you, but if you have little stutter, lag and judder issues, vsync is buggy or not working at all this might be worth a try.

I game on a 60hz monitor btw and my low/max fps is ~64/116. No discomfort at all when frames drop, with almost unnoticable tearing.

BTW this only works on high end pc's since you basically create your own minimal FPS , vertical sync does the excact same , capping on 60fps for smooth gameplay , this is mostly used by users with high end gaming pc's

MSI R9 270, 8GB RAM, Win7 64bit

Not exactly high end ;) But i guess you need a bit higher fps rate to combat excessive tearing.
I do believe it can smoothen the experience even for people with lower fps.

Also vsync only works in borderless for me ... but instead of a smooth 60 fps lock it introduces judder and lag. I guess it depends on the configuration,

just wait some patchs to fix framerate drops or lags during big spawns of zeds.
