change crosshair colors

Hello,

i've got a visual impairment, started playing this game yesterday and really enjoyed it. This is my next "left 4 dead". It's much cleaner and brighter looking than the first game, but I had to configure the gama beyond the UI setting, it was already good but it's great at 1.5.

Now my question:

Is there an option to change the color of the crosshair to yellow ?

As far as I know you have to use console commands/write in game files to change the crosshair color. I would recommend simply playing without it, game is much more fun without a crosshair anyway.

CosmicD, dnrob7 supported your request and you exploded in a very strange way over that. The hell kind of a problem is that? He said he supports gamers with visual impairment for wanting to play despite the handicap. So, the ♥♥♥♥?

There is option to not use a crosshair at all, like in the first game. Its not CS or L4D.

....Its a wonder this advantage was added at all, I had to learn hipfire without crosshair help in KF1 and KF2.

Do you guys think that I ask for a crosshair color because "I don't need the crosshair". ? The comment of "it's not fun to play with crosshair" makes no sense to me because for me, it's the other way around. Because of my visual impairment it's not fun to play without a crosshair. So it's cool that they added a feature.

Why would I ask for a feature if it would contradict what I actually want because of less fun, massochism ? Trolling ?

And yeah I understand it's going to be a console variable, that's why I ask in the first place so maybe someone knowledgable (maybe a dev?) could answer me on this one.

I have a yellow crosshair in l4d with thickness set to 5. And I can play better this way. Left 4 dead, and dead space are games I can play because of the behavior of the enemies (rno hide and shoot AI), and they have all visible contrast rich worlds.

KF2 is great in that aspect as well. The crosshair is just too thin, and if I could change it's color I would see it better.

You know, Not everyone has eagle eyes, and not everyone without eagle eyes is stuck with a world in braille. There's nuance and gradation between those 2 extremes you know.

Stop that, and learn to reading comprehension.

There's no way to edit the Crosshair right now other than using Mods (which I highly doubt would exist yet)
You could try putting this into the Feedback section instead, as a more direct way of telling TW that you want more customizable Crosshairs
