Controller support?

I see the controller support on the store page son will this game can use xbox controller for pc to play it?
I really exciting about this feature in KF2

Gosh I wish it didn't, I don't need my teammates handicapping themselves. It's already bad enough that level 0 classes will be able to join my Hell on Earth games.

What will that make them? Level negative 25?

Silly Boy Learn to USE A KEYBOARD AND MOUSE! Its 1000000x more precises and gives more controll also you can run crazy Sensitivity and still learn to be PINPOINT accurate...counterstrike people...would know... also i am glad this game is not for Consoles or it would not be very good...lol consoles are Only Holding us Back anymore.

Every time the word controller is mentioned in a thread or post, almost immedially the discussion turns into Gamepad vs mouse and keyboard. Why are the simple minded so driven to tell those who use a gamepad they are playing wrong. The threads never ask an opinion about that but they are compelled to push their likes on others. Just because you like a keyboard/mouse, doesn't mean everyone must play with one. 99% on gamepad players know a mouse/keyboard is more accurate and responsive. They know this and like the controller better because in the end, fun is what really matters. So you simple minded, please don't constantally redirect threads because if feel that you need to enlighten all those gamepad users. They don't want your opinion. They know what you know already. You are not an amazing pool of knowledge.

The gamepad support allows in-game characters to accurately simulate the severe, systemic brain damage that can result from chemical warfare injuries or runaway alcoholism

With game ballance a high priority, it is hoped that players will be patient while the right level of disablement is found for over-powered control devices like the mouse.

i can understand console players playing with a controller, but i could never understand why anyone would want to play an FPS game on a computer with a controller, that is just down right hideous. i wonder if this is the reason why i see so many people just running around the map avoiding zeds.. theyre all using contollers and can't aim :rollseyes:

not saying i would never use controller on a pc, i have actually.. but mostly the times i did were for rpg / hack and slash games. dildo

I have used a controller since Killing Floor one. Playing sharp which is a perk that relies on AIMING! (ROLLS EYES) Ignorant ♥♥♥♥.

yeah becasue it doesn't involve moving. camping in one spot is different from moving around in circles and aiming at the same time.. :rollseyes:

I agree, it's purplexing; as are the persistent claims that a gamepad is 'just as good or not better than' a mouse/kb', despite all the 'rubber meets the road' evidence that it is a gigantic handicap.

So aside from the never ending Keyboard/Mouse discussion (which, while yeah most KB/Mouse players could wreck pad players... I know a few pad players witch special sticks and twitch reactions who would probably waste you with broken thumbs) is anyone else completely unable to get their gamepad working?

I just want to run a few solo matches on the big screen sittng on my couch, that so much to ask?

I've tried updating drivers, tested my controllers (yes they work for EVERY other game in my library, and a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ pinnacle profile works (like a load of steamy ♥♥♥♥), I changed the kfconfig file, reinstalling game, running as admin, and a bunch of other bs that didn't do a dang thing.

Does anyone have another option for me? and "just kb/mouse" is a waste of your time to tell me, similar to you living.
