Are people allowed to sell beta keys?

I am NOT interested in buying/selling one myself, but I see surprisingly many offers from people who want to sell a beta key. If it is against the rules to sell them, then I can report those posts.
(If it is allowed, then I'll ignore those posts in the future. I just don't want to report them when they would be allowed to sell those keys.)

Can someone from Tripwire, or an Admin/Moderator comment on this?

I am not referring to trading some keys for games, but for the selling of the beta keys for real money.

I'm not an admin or anything of such, but if it was like other games, then yes it is allowed, however it is looked down upon.

The keys are not legally allowed to be sold without permission because it's a copyright infringement. It happens, but enforcement can be difficult. Fortunately, the keys only granted temporary access. Imo, it was a mistake on TWI's part to release the keys in an uncontrolled environment.

tripwire could revoke/deactivate these key's ''I think'' , Ubisoft did revoked key's from their game which where sold by non-legitimate third party vendors for some of them games ...

but since the key's don't grant a full product and are temporary I would be surprise to see something done again'st them.
