What do you mean by lag? There's different types of lag. There's frame stuttering (graphical issue) and then there is rubberbanding which is caused by the internet connection.

Connect to servers with low latency(ping) to get rid of the issue. If there are none and you have somewhat around 1.5-2+ Mbit upload speed(do the speedtest.net check) you should be able to host your own server without problems following this tutorial

and you'll also need to forward your ports (google 'port forwarding').

Okay I lied, to be honest I was moderating 2 RPMPro servers on SoF2 :p
Every game you own besides DayZ can be run on a very low spec PC, so that is probably why all your other games run fine.
