which explains why some weapons are much better at taking down fp/scrake respectively. A zerk parrying/blocking can serve as a tank with other players healing behind them, or they can run the map solo bashing/juking past everything that spawns.
Then I find the Vlad to be very easy to use to decap large zeds and pop husks with.
For perks Dreadnaught for more health this scales with our damage resistance.
Vampire and butcher are interchangable based on if you are solo or have a medic.
Parry gives more resistance and a lot of damage compared to resistance.
Smash is more damage and stumble than massacre.
Both zed time options are great, rage is essentially a full health boost on zed time - if you don't have extensions it's arguably the better option, Spartan is a lot of DPS but without commandos extensions you don't get much done in those 3 seconds however WITH extensions you become a living blender and can mulch everything.
It applies electricity with its right-click attacks which helps to deal with scrakes when they're enraged, as well as cancel a ZED's special attack (Siren's, E.D.A.R's, Husk's, etc...).
You don't really have amazing defence as opposed to Bone Crusher but you don't really want to deal with attacks unless you parry anyways so it is perfectly fine.
And its quick melee comes out so fast. You can get rid of multiple smaller ZEDs by just quick meleeing and I love it.
As for perks;
Dreadnaught for groups, Skirmisher for solo.
Vampire... always pick vampire. 20% more damage is very tempting but the passive healing is just so good.
Parry over Resistance. You'll learn how to deal with sonic and poison as you play the class, so learn how to parry.
Smash over Massacre unless you're going for a katana, blood sickle, etc... build.
And ZED TIME is truly personal preference. They both work in groups and solo, so use them and see which one you like.
