whats going on with killing floor 2?

okay this is weird cause all my perks has been change to zero and the weirdest part is that when i go offline and ready up it's said its looking for player even tho. i want to play offline what's going on? am i encounter a glitch or something?

You can't play offline anymore.
They removed this function with the epic merge ~2 years ago.
You need internet connection even for singleplayer.

You serious? How am I gonna play offline now? And also I already got internet connections and what about the perks level?

Edit:okay what do mean internet connections even tho. I got like ya know an actual internet like wifi and stuff

Pretty much, Killing Floor 2 became Trash Floor 2 long ago, is what happened.

I don’t believe it and I still wonder how am I gonna play kf2 offline like do i actually need internet connection like Wi-Fi? and I still wonder what happen to my perks level as well it all went to zero

all u can do is connect to the net and play solo thats the next best thing to offline for kf2,
while your connected through your wifi u can have a go at multiplayer:)

Your perk progress isn't stored locally, it's stored on TWI's servers. So no internet connection, no perk levels.

no wonder why my perks levels are gone i thought it was some kind of glitch or something

update:
okay somehow all my perks levels are back and i can play offline i mean it's good but honestly its weird and i can't tell if it was a glitch, bug or something i can hardly tell

This is a problem that exists since KF1, not just the EA merger. All your player data except steam inventory is stored server-side. If you tried launching KF1 offline you'd also be stuck at level 0 perks.

Huh I wonder if tripwire knew this issue

They know, but I think they decided it was the lesser of two evils. What they didn't want was giving people the ability to cheat level progression, that's why they also tend to crack down on farm servers. Whether you like that or not is something up for debate I suppose.

It would be like the lvl 25 xp-farm-map noobs but worse.
