When it says that, does it mean splitscreen? If so, then HELL YEAH!

A lot of PC games have splitscreen.

I really don't see how else they can have Local Co-op, unless the Local Co-op tag is there by accident.
Local Co-op is also (sadly) sometimes referred to as LAN, and no, that's not false advertising, that's a mistake on Steam's part.
But I swear, if this game has splitscreen, I'm preordering outta sheer appreciation. Immediately. Played the f outta the original and plan to do the same with this game, but I doubt I will get it at launch ordinarily due to PC troubles as of late.
+1 to splitscreen.
Not a lot a pc games have splitscreen. A couple do, like l4d2, but that is pretty much it.

RE6 has it natively built in, as does Serious Sam 3.
Unreal Tournament 3, too, but it's hidden in the console. This game runs on UE3, so that may be possible.

portal had split screen.
But compared to the consoles its is rare
Games with splitscreen are a dying breed. I'd probably never use it myself, but I would appreciate its inclusion.

Hahahahaha. For a PC gamer, you don't know it very well, do you?

There are tons of great games that have Split-Screen available on the PC, probably more than any given console around this moment of time. PC is about options and local co-op is an option.

There's more splitscreen games on the PC than there has been, but nowhere near (not even remotely close) as much as there are on consoles. It's why I bought a PS3 in the first place.

I don't mean all the consoles combined, but there's more than if you were to compare one individual console. It's a start.

No, even then. Most games that have splitscreen are multiplatform anyway, and they're always removed in the PC edition. It still vastly outnumbers the PC by dozens, not counting the Wii due to processing power.
Sorry if I'm coming across as a bit of a jerk, I do that sometimes.

I'm not kidding, I could count them if you want.
I'll have a look now.

(Note: Splitscreen =/= Samescreen)

According to this, there's about 100 games on the PS3 with splitscreen and only 25 on the PC. I get that it doesn't account for all the games, surely, but there are roughly 4 times as much well known games running local multiplayer on PS3 than there are on PC.
360 has even more.
