"Failed to reach item server"

Getting tired of that message. The developers are done with this game and working on KF3 right? Why not get this problem solved? The Vault Dosh/ inventory stuff has always been buggy in KF2. I don`t understand why.

I love the game but the developers make it hard to recommend to my friends. Just fix the inventory and item stuff already Should have been first on the list of things to do.

yeah it happens sometimes but doing it another time it should work
sometimes it actually does it anyhow like the item would spawn after showing the error

Unfortunately for that support article, the problem isn't the receiving item. It's recycling items that doesn't work right. I have never had an issue with getting drops
1. I click recycle
2. It sits on the animation for 30 seconds.
3. Pops that error message.
4. I recycle the same item again
5. It works instantly
6. I go to the next item to recycle.
7. Repeat step 2-5.

It always fails the first attempt on each item and always works on the second attempt. I've tested this on all types of items as well (USBs/cases/skins) and all rarities.

game shows the error, even though you could have recieved an item idk why this still exsists but i played since Ea 2014 the free weekend and this was always a problem. never got fixed proably isnt fixable. anyway just redo the try it should work fine even with error message. BTW THIS IS STEAM VERSION PROBLEM, EPIC DOESNT OWN THIS PROBLEM!!!

I see. Thanks for the clarification. I would still recommend reaching out to support to see if they have any other advice. Doing this also helps track such issues internally.

I see. Thanks for the clarification. I would still recommend reaching out to support to see if they have any other advice. Doing this also helps track such issues internally.

For what it's worth, I checked both my security program logs to see if they were blocking anything like the article said, but they haven't blocked anything related to the game.
