Therefore it is 100% dead unfortunately.
Only for the game to be harder as survivors is if your team suck, thats it.
Zeds have to rely on gang-up attacks to pick off Survivors (usually a Siren pull followed by whatever else you can throw at the indisposed survivor), so if you have no communication, good luck. Patty is the only real exception and even he can be absolutely bullied if the survivor team wants to do so.
Maxed-out chaos perks absolutely wreck this mode, and some of them get ridiculous balancing changes to tilt the odds in their favor even further. (Seriously, can anyone tell me a legitimate reason why the Caulk n Burn gets such insane damage modifiers in VS Survival?)
The devs would need to redo this mode from the ground up and hardcode completely separate rules for it, but given it basically hasn't been touched since Early Access, I wouldn't hold my breath on it.
If KF3 were to ever exist, VS mode needs a total rework. The idea sounded good, but the execution was horrible.
And there is the problem that you can win the round by running away until the patriarchs health runs out.
