Coop campaign for Killing floor 2 ?

Hello i just wanted to know if the game is Coop campaign fully and also coop lan campaign in case or their server shutdown someday like gamespy or many other program similar of scam ?
Cause if the game is only a stupid wave or horde of ennemies to fight it's not even worth for me to get it then. cause it's very boring otherwise. Is there any pvp multiplayer also for this game ? with many different map ?
Is the campaign long mission and opened world or just instanced area ?

- The server will never shutdown, because we have dedicated servers, created by players, not an official Tripwire server

- Game is not boring until you get every achievement and all perks at max level. PVP is coming next days, many maps. Also, this game supports custom maps created by community

- Just survival in waves, no campaign at all

There is no campaign at the moment.
It will be an instanced area just like all the other maps though this is just an assumption on my part. Doesn't make sense for them to make it open world, then again it didn't make sense to make PVP or MT either but here we are.

This post gave me cancer. Not every game needs some kind of campaign or storymode or an open world. You can find different games for that. Tripwire makes mostly online games. As long as the gamplay is solid and fun, people can have a blast. There are already Call Of Duties and Just Causes that cover everything mentioned in this post.

There will presumably be an objective mode just as in the first game. Extremely minimal story, but certainly co-op oriented. This isn't one of those games that you can "beat". It's more in the style of a tf2 or cs:go. Focused on replayability.

No its not that type of game. No campaign. KF1 had an objective mode but these maps were still short. Its not like L4D campaign or Kane & Lynch for that matter.

KF core gameplay is survival mode which is requires servers (atm.) Considering that KF1 is still being actively played 6+ years on, the risk of those servers going down is next to zero. Also note that may players rent their own servers. In addition KF1 had listen servers which basically allowed you to use your own PC as a host for games. That feature isnt in KF2 yet.

"Stupid" wave or horde mode..... if youre gonna insult why 99.9% of the playerbase is here then dont bother with this game. Go play something else. What may be boring for you isnt for us. Have you actually seen any gameplay videos?

Despite a lack of campaign there are several maps. Some official, much more made by modders. Most are okay. Some are great. A few are exceptional.

Ultimately if you solely are after a coop campaign game then this isnt the game for you.

Ok i see, No campaign, no fun for me, it's not worth to buy it so i'll not get it. thanks for your honest and sincere answers. was just looking for a game similar to left 4 dead 2 with different campaign map or area to explore and fully COOP. with pvp too . i feel disappointed i thought that killing floor 1 or 2 were good games with campaign and all, so disappointed i'm....

than check dead effect 2, it has coop and story.

than check dead effect 2, it has coop and story.

I heard than dead effect 2 is gameplay in the same map or a same ship area so there is no much diversity and different things to explore :( i try to find a game with open world too a bit like left 4 dead 2 but i'm depressed i find nothing :(

yes it is on the same ship, but there is lots of different maps, and in the future there will be more. didn't know that l4d2 have open world maps! :P

than u can check FIREFALL, it is open world/mmo, lots of different zones, dungeons, missions, equipment and it is free to play!
Or WARFRAME, or DEFIANCE! :D
Or play BORDERLANDS 2! :D

I mean i try to find a gore or bloody zombie game cool with coop campaign and pvp, nice graphism , nice gameplay, many map or area different, many weapon, armor or equipement too.
