Dual monitor, mouse not locked in KF2
So I've had a break from KF2 for a while, get back last weekend April 30th. (I've formated since last playing, then with no problems,) and now this problem has occured. Tried reinstalling.

Mouse doesn't lock on to KF2 (borderless 1920x1080). It will lock on, but when I do 'sharp' turns I can see my mouse exiting off onto my secondary monitor and get maybe a centimeter or two over on it. Ofcourse I click and end up opening a new application.

Anyone got this problem? Any fixes? Hard finding any, lots of multiple monitor problems for both KF and KF2 on google, just not this.

Yes, the fault in my case was explorer.exe for unknown reasons; restarting it or terminating it while KF2 is running solved it.

But borderless mode frequently causes this, use fullscreen mode
If you insist on borderless mode use only one monitor and terminate explorer.exe, your mouse wont have anywhere to escape, not even the taskbar.

Hmm, not the best fixes but thanks.

Fullscreen didn't work.

Probably have to disable your second monitor completely. Did the same for me before when I had a triple screen setup but ditched it for a 21:9 Ultrawide.

-I don't like this solution though. =[

-OP, I'm hooking up a dual (maybe tri) monitor seteup when I get back to the US and finish my move into my new place. I'll update then.

Restarting explorer.exe did not work. Terminating it worked, ofcourse, but that shuts down my second monitor. I realize this is easily fixed by shutting down explorer.exe/unplugging my 2nd monitor, but do you really see this as a good fix? I mean, I have two monitors for a reason and it's not to use it as a cool knicknack. Sorry if I seem mad, but I am.

It's just they did a poor job of trapping your cursor on your gaming screen. If I only used 1 of my 3 monitors I'd get random minimization every now and then because the mouse must have drifted off screen. Even did it in fullscreen which is weird. Sucks because my old graphics card couldn't push this game triple screen so I settled for one.

I run dual and I do not have these issues.

Having explorer.exe running is not necessary to operate more than 1 monitor, you must have other software or processes causing it
I can only recommend the usual troubleshooting steps aside from reinstalling KF2

Download a program called cursor lock and follow the instructions for setting up shortcuts to steam games with it
