Bad Image - KF2 unable to start up.

Ok something has been odd with my copy of Killing Floor 2. Here's the scenario, I can't seem to launch it at all. Starts up then just kaputs 5 seconds later.

Tried doing it from the Steam folders, I get a specific error.

KFgame.exe - Bad Image
C:\Windows\system32\faultrep.dll is either designed not to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the software vendor for support.

I've tried nearly every recommendation from this post http://steamcommunity.com/app/232090/discussions/0/618460171320464241/ but there's no avail. It's utterly mind boggling of what is possibly going wrong. Any ideas?

-Can you show us a picture? You might want to reinstall KF2.

Oh I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling several times. No dice.

also for the OS it's Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit

-You should download a new faultrep.dll from http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dll-files.shtml?faultrep and choose the free 64bit version.

-Then extract the .dll and paste it in your system32 folder and overwrite the old one. Let me know if that doesn't work.

Had the same issue trying to launch the game in Fullscreen , running borderless windowed fixed it for me.
