King Fleshpound Tips
1. Duck when he shoots the laser. This is the intended way to dodge it. I still see people panicking and jumping away.

2. Quarter Pounds are finite in number. Kill them first and ignore the KFP. Let the tank distract the KFP until all the Quarter Pounds are dead.

3. Quarter Pounds spawn 3 times throughout the KFP's health bar. If you hurt the KFP too fast and trigger two spawns, you will get a double serving of Quarter Pounders. This can overwhelm and kill a lot of the team. Quarter pounds are small, but they still deal about 50 damage a hit.

4. KFP's aggro seems to be largely distance based. Whoever is closest to him is his target.

5. Tanks should pull the KFP away from the team, because he has a lot of AoE attacks.

6. The KFP is extremely weak by himself, so your goal is to remove his buddies.

7. KFP's strongest attack is his ground slam. Keep your distance until you know his AI patterns.

Hope this helps.

I play zerker unless one of my dailies is another perk and I usually try to distract the bosses since I can reheal constantly and I can take more damage than the other perks. BUT, most of time the boss will ignore me and go to anyone who is close as well. I've seen it happen with all 3 bosses. They'll focus on me for a few seconds but once everyone else starts shooting at him, he'll switch targets.

When I was playing with pubs, I told them, "kill the small ones first." (just in case people don't know what QP is...)
Guess what? most of the time they just ignore it, and keep damaging the boss until it spawn more QPs.

Spawning more QP already is a big problem. But the worst part is that, the King FP was aiming someone who is trying to run away, but his teammate(s) keep shooting the King FP non-stop, so it rage again, target the same innocent player/tank. Loop, then that innocent player/tank is dead.

That is basically the same thing with normal FP, some good players tried to tank a hit form a raging FP. It "de-raged", but the other guy with low firepower keep shooting the FP, FP rage again and kill the player who tanked once for the team...

I had good success killing him on the run. While camping is generally useful for other bosses, the QPs are easier to thin out while running. This way, you dont have to deal with too much pounding at once. Divide and conquer!

If you're on higher terrain than the KFP, don't duck, you've got a higher chance of survival by running away if you're up on a slope, or jumping at the right time if it's flat, but still higher than the KFP's platform.

Sure you still get hit, but you mitigate a bit of the damage.
