DieSector Endless Hell on Earth Wave 25
Is there any way I can reach this solo?

I've tried for ages now, and no matter what I do, what tactics I adopt, which weapons I choose or how hard I try, I just can't make it past waves 18-20 thanks to the biggest bs that is Fleshpounds spawning out of thin air at the same time, knocking me into a corner without fail and it's GAME OVER because I can't kill three FP and 4+ QP fast enough, never mind all the trash ganging up on me as well.

I know my level 23 Field Medic should be more than capable of being able to accomplish it, but nothing works to get past that cheap rush. I was able to breeze through Suicidal and then the first 16 or so waves on HoE, but yeah, from there on it's pure depression.

Or is there someone I can play with to reach that point? Seems solo is a 1/1000 chance of FP not gangbanging me in a corner.

If you have issues with flesh pounds, you can purchase another perk weapon like the rail gun just to deal with them.

Edit: But just the 501 and hemoclobber should be enough to deal with them. Buff yourself with 501 grenade and then use alt fire with hemoclobber repeatedly on fleshpound if you get trapped.

Is the Railgun still the overall best against FP, then? Just hope I'll have enough capacity to keep a maxed Medic weapon and use that, then.

Okay, cool. :-)

Go zerk Hemoclobber for trash and Eviscerator for the rest. Pulverizer is better for killing big ones mid wave but you will have problem with bosses without range. Best option I believe to drop an Evis on the ground and have it for the bosses. And parry a lot!

You could take the Sharpshooter route. Freeze grenades will help stop those pesky Fleshpounds and Quarterpounds dead in their tracks for a few seconds, just enough time for you to duck and plant a couple shots in their temple with any serious Sharpshooter weapon. On solo Hell on Earth, Fleshpounds go down with just about any weapon.

Alternatively, me and a buddy of mine could give you a hand to beat Wave 25 on Die Sector Hell on Earth, if you really need the help

Yo Aero,

Endless HoE is harder than when I did it back on its release. I did it on a pub server but solo'd to around wave 50 before two ppl joined separately.

It should be possible to get to level 25 with a self-healing zerk. Alot easier than using a medic.

Not sure if/how it may impact the medic but you could try taking a m32 or RPG to take out the FPs faster. If youre playing solo medic.... make sure youre playing right side skills. As Im pretty sure the other ones are symbiotic in nature. I.e. to get the best out of them you need teammates.

Its been a while since I played medic. ^^

It has the highest DPS I think, so even if you just quickly fire body shots, you should be able to take down a flesh pound quickly with a few shots in solo. The RPG is another option, but if you get rushed by too many zeds and get trapped, you won't be able to fire it.

Berserker with the hemoclobber is another good option.

Personally, I've gotten to waves 100-150 many times in HoE as a medic by just using the 501. You can just spam gas grenades and run in circles. As long as you are careful to not get trapped, you should be fine.

I did it solo, took me 70 min. Was mostly playing zerk & medic. keep kiting around the map. The only thing making this hard is because of the small corridors + awful spawn system

I did it long ago with a 25 zerker with katana and RPG. RPG is used for SC and FP/QP. There's a bit of luck involved, you could say, because of Boom waves.

i'd say what makes the most difference is getting better at positioning and timing, builds and weapon choice can help a lot, but its ultimately the placement that kills you most of the time.

the ironic thing is that i've reached that level with all perks while trying to get the 5 EDDARs for dailies, bad RNG.

that said i've never tried to see how far i can go, i'm not patient enough. hats off to the people that can go past 30 and beyond.

With DieSector usually pathing is the main issue I see for players. They don't know when to bail from a spot, and which path to take. They don't know that even if there are 2 scrakes blocking a path, they can still bash the scrakes and move right past them without getting hit. This usually leads to them getting trapped and meeting their end easily.
Since there are a bit too many posts to reply to individually, I'll do so with one.

Thanks, guys, there are some interesting tips there that I hadn't quite thought of before.

With the Medic, I definitely run around amply and rely heavily on grenades to get rid of trash running after me or that are cluttered so I can focus on the heavies. And Scrakes are no issue as, indeed, it is very easy to bash them whilst running past so as to not get trapped. And if the poison eventually riles them up and they come charging at me, they are easy to take out by then anyway.

The last straw with the FP came ironically last night while I was foing everything right. I was running in a WIDE open area, but multiple FP were raging. So one sent me flying, and *immediately* after, another one sent me flying into a corner. I had 30HP by then. So the moment the group of about six closed in on me, I was instakilled.

I just have no way past such cheap rushes, so for now I'll try those other weapons.

you could take the Hemogoblin save it to de-buff the bigger Zeds when they spawn in, due to the "bleed out" effects

I'll give that a go, thanks.
