M16 might be most useful weapon for survivalist
The Survivalist buffs the m16 bullet damage by a max of 15%, which the damage I believe doesn't get buffed for the bullets of that weapon by any of the demo skills.

You'll be able to reload the weapon faster at level 5.

You can increase the ammo for what seems to be both the nade launcher and bullets it seems with the vague description of the level 15 perk.

Things go boom at level 20 will make the nade have a better radius so you can actually take out groups with it rather than single enemies.

Madman at level 25 will probably let you be able to shoot both the m16 and the nade launcher 3 times faster in zed time.

Start thinking about all the crazy stuff you guys can do with this perk guys, it could be a lot of fun. Don't think of it as a copout, because if Tripwire tried to add another perk with a specific function, it would basically be another variation of a different perk that does the same role with a few different skills.

LMG perk would be uneeded, as LMG weapons if they were ever added would fit commando as a heavy, expensive, tier 4.

Electric/ mad scientist perk would be nice, but would evidentily become another type of firebug, and any electric weapons should get added to firebug. Enough with 4 weapon perks.

Start thinking more positive guys and don't die.

I agree. The M16/M203 is kinda useless for higher level Demos. Whatever you've missed with a direct hit, the splash damage can make up for it easily.

Shifting weapons between perks have never been a problem for this game.

Yeah, everyone already knows all the crazy ♥♥♥♥ that's going to be able to be done with this perk. Hence why there is so many complaints about it, it makes class balances irrelevant and raises so much more questions which you can easily find yourself.

The normal nade launcher is better for trash clearing, and I'd much rather use other guns or a melee to compensate for close range.

Whut?
M16/M203 is awsome and way better than nade launcher.
The only trouble demo had was trash engaging him in cqb.
This issue doesn't exist with an assault rifle in your hands anymore.
Ammo is plenty and if there is a support on team I've got like a third of my explosive lefts at the end of any but the most horrible waves on hoe.

Nope. M79 + RPG is still the way to go.

Stop camping, so you won't get crowded.

I use the m16 most of the time with demo. Probably one of my favorite weapons. Just the splash damage with the nade is pathetic. Good weapon to use for individual targets and enemies in close proximity, but m79 is better for groups and when you got teammates to defend you (or at least to communicate with).

What's really weird is how the survivalist can just get 20% or however much more explosive range it was with no damage drawback, like demo has to deal with.
