Agreed, though I really miss the flamers smg. That was a much more interesting weapon than the CnB and it was still useful in later waves.
@Remedy No offence m8 but trench gun is steaming pile of crap, it can not compete with caulk'n'brun, yet alone flamethrower. You may like this weapon and this just fine but at least accept the truth.
Yeah I want to love the trench gun but its just garbage :(
This is actually an interesting idea :) Could work with a few more tweaks to differentiate them.
The flamethrower in KF1 felt more like a fireball slinging gun, like a modified husk launcher, than a flamethrower.
I hated the trench gun at first. Looongest reload time ever. But the ammo capacity perk along with the napalm perk makes it really shine for me. I would say it gets the job done, nothing more and nothing less. Plus, my biggest reason why i use it is because it doesnt obscure my teamates view.
I still carry a flamethrower (or CnB) of course, especialy when sh*t hits the fan though.
When they rework firebug, this is a MUST have change. The chalk'n'burn can stay as is, because it clearly uses gas. And also because I like it.
You may want to watch some videos on how REAL flamethrowers work. KF1 flamethrower is very much accurate to how a real flamethrower would work.

3:47 is exactly where you'll see a flamethrower acting like KF1s. Spitting jets of gasoline in bursts.
KF2s flamethrower is a gas flamethrower based on its flame. Which is an incredibly inneffiecient flamethrower type. Fire doesn't stick very well to flesh. Napalm or gasoline DOES.
