Weapon Animations
You are really digging you own grave, im a huge fan of kf, i loved both of them, but what you´re doing right now with your weapon animations and sound are going to give you a really bad look of what this game was.

I´m not even gonna make screenshots giving feedback about the errors they have, you can just put zed time and see everything, also the position of the famas looks horrible(firing sounds from the SA-80 semi-auto) and the thermal canon thing it´s a copy paste from the seal squeal.

Do you think this is the content we deserve after charging us 30€?

The free guns are always just re-skins of existing guns.

Famas is by far the worst looking weapon they added in this update from an aesthetic standpoint, the ACOG just really ruins it for me.

The free guns are always just re-skins of existing guns.

The weapon he's referring to is the Thermal Bore or whatever it's called, the firebug paid DLC

They're decision of using mocapped animations for the guns was IMO a bad choice. The animations have ALWAYS looked and felt janky since day 1 of EA.

Funnily enough, on top of it looking like garbage, the FAMAS doesn't outperform the AK-12 or M16 making it inherently useless on Commando. The Masterkey sound is also the AA-12 firing sound.

I would hope they don't start randomly recycling weapon sound design.
It would have folks wondering just how tiny the Saber upkeep team assigned to KF2 is.

also reusing animations, its so obvious in a way. reusing sfx from other weapons.Yeah, another hint i shouldn't come back
only dlc weps i actually liked was the minigun and ion thruster.

There's software out there where you can make animations, you know? Without the need to mocap.

Looking at the FAMAS animations, it's incredibly noticeable that they aren't using mocap and are using new people who don't know how the FAMAS or it's attachments function. Just look at the horribly animated charging handle.

well saber making updates now if i am not wrong. Also i think famas animations are passable. But weapon position is horrible. Also i dont like reused sounds

well saber making updates now if i am not wrong. Also i think famas animations are passable. But weapon position is horrible. Also i dont like reused sounds
Yeah, I'm aware of Saber's involvement but when I say "new" I really mean new to the industry. The animations seriously stand out among the rest of the games arsenal and are blatantly low quality. I can also tell it was made by someone who doesn't know how optics work. Seriously, shoot it in game and look at the charging handle, especially during the reload. It's very bad looking. And yes, the weapon position is pretty horrible, albeit it makes sense given that it could easily take up most of the right side of the screen. Or they just wanted to cover up how awkward the PC holds onto the Masterkey... Oh, and the weapon is off center when you ADS.

They did a similar thing with the blunderbuss, bad positioning on the screen. Probably just easier to animate but not aesthetically pleasing for sure.
