I agree, try being a med-surv. It's rewarding and fun!
Easy classes will stay the same, zerk, medic, firebug, gunslinger and survivalist.
But on suicidal you can really enjoy the tankines of swat, the big one 1 shots with sharp and freeze everything you want with freezer, frost fang or frostbytes ;)
My personal experience at least.
Personally I'd advise playing other classes before getting locked into being a team MEDIC cause you can check out any time you like, but they'll never let you leave if you git gud. Combat MEDIC, on the other hand, is insanely fun with poison perks, a HMTech-301 Shotgun and HRG Incision.
Also, as much as I've seen complaints and raging about the new Moonbase map, it's really fun. Ignore the Berserkers complaining about nerfs too. Perk is still OP.
Scrake have 60% explosive resistant and 70% fire resistant.
If you don't have anyone in your team good enough to decap them fast and clean husk cannon is a very safe option. You will kill everything around the scrakes in addition.
But it took long and need lots of amo.
you MUST have a macro set for Husk Cannon to be most effective with delay of 0.215 secs between each shot, thats where it deals higher dmg than regular spamming, without using additional ammo for the half charge
2 alt blast will guarantee a knockdown for scrakes, high ammo count, knockback blast, ability to create groundfire, and microwave damage makes it the ideal weapon.
I often use husk cannon but obviously not for scrake, i prefer spitfire or dragsonbreath for this, if i have to deal with scrakes as fb... what' shouldn't be the case.
Esp on random teams, husk cannon is often the safer option compared to helios. Helios is best used with experienced/precision players.
Huh, I have not really noticed. Then again my playstyle i dont really have a problem with them, i kill all their small friends and they are usually all alone then i whip out my +2 dual spitfires and burst them down. When they fire panic i reload or switch weapons and that is pretty much it. The husk cannon for me is my big zed/ boss killer and according to you they have lower explosive resistance then fire so it works out more then my pure fire options.
Survivalist or Berserker for tanking (you'll be playing Berserker on Wave 1 regardless to get that crovel start)
Medic's role is self-explanatory
Demolitionist for large zed kills
Commando for trash killing/stalker callout/zed time extensions
Support for ammo resupply, though that isn't as important as tank/healer/HVT/trash killing
Anyone other than SWAT would be good for the sixth player slot
