I have also heard of way to try them out with mods in the workshop or with console commands during solo offline play but I do not know if this is allowed.
Most of the paid DLC weapons are a pretty different then anything that perk has access to, and so I would say that if you are bored of all the other weapons for that perk the DLC weapons might be worth it for you.
For a single weapon 10 dolla ant no joke tho not for my broke ass ne way so I will have to settle for content sharing to get my DLC weapon fix.
IMO dual glocks are trash for several reasons, the cost, the weight, and for some reason even if you tap fire, it seems like every other LMB press your first shot is completely off target. A single glock is well worth it IMO for two reasons. 1 it shreds trash and has a high ammo count. 2 it fills your rack em up meter insanely fast allowing you to swap to deagles or magnum(or whatever you use) to kill large zeds easily without wasting ammo and reloads on a 7 shot deagle or 5 shot magnum. Just tap fire at large zed, get instant REU x5, swap to better weapon... profit.
Like I said though, you will only get opinions here, so why not enable console commands in single player and try them out for a few games? That's the only true way to know if they are worth the price for you.
High clip size, high magazine, and low ammo cost makes it a good choice for close to mid range encounters, lots of ammo for last man standing situations, and has enough ammo to deal with corner group spawns.
As for big zeds, it does a poor job decaping scrakes because it has almost no stopping power.
For FP and QP it can easily decap them if you dual wield them and perform head tracing.
If your skills, map, and camping spot allows killing zeds at a long range then there are other guns that will do a much better job.
If you enjoy the game and plan to invest time into the game, then it is worth buying the gun during a sale.
Whether it is worth the full price is your opinion.
Funny fact: the SWAT's Glock ist single handed, doesn suffer from those problems, has lower recoil AND has glowing sights. The Gunslinger variant is held with both hands and yet the handling is so much poorer.
But they have very quick animation reload even in duals mode, you can clear through trash very quickly. Single glock is a good side-arm if you are bored, still preffer 1911 than this or rhino.
I mean, buy it if you want to have some weapon variety from time to time.
Yes each prev bundle is cheaper than new one on release.
Also there was humble bundle with almost all weapon pack bundles , characters and outfits for 12 bucks.
Its great for multi since the massive ammo + full auto lets you easily compensate for mistakes
I usually run dual weld DE (max upgrade) + glock (max upgrade) + HMtech pistol T2.
One downside is ammo costs. Its gonna set you back alot if you chew through your entire ammo reserve. (which you shouldnt unless you are playing endless or bodyshooting)
Desert Eagle - 21/7 = $3 per bullet
M1911 - 13/8 = $1.6 per bullet
AF2011 - 27/16 = $1.68 per bullet
Glock 18c - 38/33 = $1.15 per bullet
Each one of gunslinger guns can decap all low tier zeds with 1 bullet which makes up most of the waves.
Yes Glock has cheap bullets. Look at the math.
The glock has so much reserve ammo that it can easily take out most of the zeds on HOE waves if you whole team dies.
You do not run out of ammo unless you bodyshot your zeds or you cannot control your gun's rate of fire.
I have used this on 6P HOE with a whole team dying early leaving 300+ zeds, that was the only time that I almost ran out of ammo.
1 bullet is cheap, yes, but you need far more bullets to kill stuff, compared to Deagles. Even if you are headshotting - 6man wise.
Yes it's full auto and 66 clip size (dual mode), but crazy spread and recoil makes them pretty hard to use.
