Cross platform with friends?

My friend owns this game on Epic, and I own it on Epic, Steam, and PS4. We’re trying to play together this weekend, and I’d like to play it on my PS4 because I find I get the best experience there. Does anyone know how to play with a friend across platforms? Last I heard this game was cross-platform, but there’s no friends system that I’m aware of.

It is only cross play with epic and steam so far. Hope that helps :)

Thanks. Not what I was hoping to hear, but ok. Hopefully they do this sooner rather than later.

saddest news I've ever heard. More and more of my pals are purchasing consoles and willing to play togather. Hope another day you'll change your mind and will make your true fans even happier. For example, in some games you can turn off the crossplay support if you don't wanna play with other platform. This is great!

I have console myself, but to learn how to play FPS on it will take years. I've tried and it was the worst experience I've ever had.

That's a real shame. I was hoping with current cross platform system implemented we could eventually have expanded options.

I play this game on steam using a Nintendo Switch Pro Controller and it works fine. KF2 isn't mainly a pvp game so the drawback of using a gamepad for this game isn't really felt.
