I began with Swat, because not much aim required any it works basically as a low-medium damage bullethose.
an yes, in my opinion too > zerker is the hardest class especially for beginner
Aim at the general direction of zeds, shoot, profit
Gunslinger/Marksman/Medic - Med tier
More reliant on good aim, otherwise straightfoward pew pew perks
Support and a med class in any game is super handy
I like zerk because you dont have to worry about ammo or armor for most of the match
gunslinger is cool but I find I run out of ammo pretty darn fast
Most damage - gunslinger, sharpshooter (max lvl), firebug (max lvl), support specialist (max lvl)
Teamplay - medic, demolitionist, commando
Soloplay - berserker, gunslinger, SWAT
Fun - Survivalist, SWAT, medic.
Easy to play - medic, commando, SWAT, firebug, support specialist.
Hard to play (play good, not play like a bot) - gunslinger, sharpshooter, berserker, survivalist, demolitionist.
But, honestly, almost every perk is funny and easy to play if it's not HOE difficulty. Most people with 25+ lvl still cannot understand the game and ways to win it, relax and play.
Those 2 are the only ones with the best carry potential.
Anyone who says, Commando/demo/firebug has no idea what they're saying, no offense.
However this is a team game the best class is the one that meshes well with the team. So when you join a game please keep that in mind.
There are chaotic perks and precision perks.
Precision perks would be the commando, Sharpshooter, gunslinger, support and swat.
Chaos perks are the firebug, demo and zerker.
Medic fits in both teams and survivalist fits in either depending on his weapon choice.
Generally speaking the chaos perks are less effective with longer times to kill but are much easier to play with demo and firebug not even requiring you to aim to eventually kill your targets.
Meanwhile the precision perks are more effective have much shorter times to kill and can make more use of zed time however they are harder to use as they rely on headshots, if you aren't landing those then you are going to have a tough time.
Head hp is a smaller health pool that seperates from body hp so the chaos perks with their body damage either don't assist precision perks or negatively effect that perk.
Chaos perks upset precision perks so don't pick them unless the team already is using them. For example a demo will upset a gunslinger or Sharpshooter and can't contribute to their takedowns due to the seperate head and body hp pools, but also the explosions will also blind and shake the screen of the other perks cuasing them to miss shots when if the demo didn't fire they would be in no danger.
Just be mindful of others and try to have fun.
