Buying gifts for a friend?
I've searched on Steam and inside the game, but I can't seem to find a way to gift items I buy from either the Steam Market or inside KF2.

The way I see it, I'd have to buy the items myself and then trade with my friend 1 week after the trade freeze via steam trade.

Am I missing something here? I'd like to buy a bundle of Halloween ticket.

items bought by you will only be tradeable/marketable after a week, no way around that

I know that, but can't I just directly gift something for my friend?

I never saw a Steam game where you can buy in game items as a gift.
So I think this is more Steam related thing than KF2 related.
Maybe you should post here and suggest them to make it a feature.
I mean, if we can buy games from Steam as gifts, they could make it so we can buy stuff from community market, and other stuff that ends up in Steam Inventory, as gifts.

I guess this answers my question. This is why Warframe is cooler, since it has it's own ingame currency which can be used to gift things to your friends...

This is regretable because in KF1, you could gift weapon bundles to your friend. So, if it's on the Steam Store, you can gift. If it's anything Community Market related, it can't be gifted.

Well it can, but only after a week. Just hold on to whatever items you wanna pass on until they are eligible, initiate a trade and simple leave your friend's slots empty and do it. It's a pain in the butt, but it works!

That doesn't work for FX bundles. I bought a Headshot FX bundle, but I can't buy a duplicate... So regretable...
