Why can't we co op alone

Me and my friend want to co op, but there is no option for it. We have to join a full team server with dumb players who doesn't even know how to play. Sharpshooters using RPG and medic using Katana is the best we get
Seriously a co op game like kf2 where we can't play alone ?

You have to host/rent your own server to do this. Currently no easier way. If your computer/connection are good, you may be able to host your own server. Takes 30-60 minutes to set up if you're interested in that.

My computer blows, so I rent a server for $10 a month even though I have no friends... v_v

Though I do have a spare pc lying around which i use mainly for downloading games but come on running your own server just to play co op with your friend 🤔

We can't kick if 3 people join as 2 votes doesnt count
This has never been a issue for me as I rarely play with other people on this game
But ever since my frnd got it it's become a real show stopper
Why it's so hard to implement something like this that has defined what co op with friends actually means

If I'm right there is a "private server" (or something like that) option in the matchmaking filter, I recommend you to take a look, but be careful, you may end up ont a server with a high latency.

Well, the word "co op" involves more than one player so of course you can't "co op alone" as the tittle suggests

Online matchmaking.

Permissions.

Set it to friends only.

Invite your friend ( Right hand side ).

If you get a server that is located far away from you and end up with a bad ping, try again until you get a good one.

Teechnically you can co-op alone. Create a mission with a password your tell your friend, then start it, and wait for them to join. Since no one else knows the password, they can't get into it.

Just don't use something stupid as a password like 12345. :P

Problem is I have been trying this and it puts me in a weird ping of 200+
I shoot now but the shot connects 3 sec later
And yes both me and my friends are of same region, same city, live 5 blocks apart from each other

Just wanted a ol fashioned co op where one of us can be a host
