CROSSPLAY WITH EPIC

Hi, i was just wondering, how can i play with some epic games friends, because i have the game on steam and they have it on epic.
I know i can vinculate the accounts to invite them, but when i click the button "vinculate account", nothing happens.
Please help unu

I don't even know how to do it... I got KF2 on Steam and my friend on EGS... must he have a Steam account and I must have an EGS account in order to work?

Lots of problems with KF2 on Epic while trying online (where the meat of the game is). Game could easily freeze and I think twi is trying to take notes on reddit.

I was just doing this a couple hours ago. Create a lobby in KF2 on Steam, you'll get a menu to connect your Steam to your Epic Games account; a tab in your default browser should open up to confirm things. Make sure you're both added friends on Epic Games too BTW. Now on the group menu you should have an option to add friends from different platforms, if they're online on Epic Games, they should show up.

I was playing with a friend from Epic that I had invited. We got to level 8/10 in a match before the server disconnected us. Then when we tried to put the lobby together he stopped showing up under friends from different platforms. We both closed and restarted our games, we still had the same problem.

I've done that whole thing but we still don't see each other.

when you play on steam and crate a group, the interface gives you the option to send an invitation to your friends on steam or other plataforms, just down below its the option to link the accounts, if you haven't done that yet, your accounts are not linked.
But that's the problem i have you know. I click the "vinculate account" button but nothing happens, unlike my friend, who could lonk them with no problems, and told my that wehn you press that button, an epicgames browser should open. but nothing happens unu

If you log into epicgames in a browser then you would see it under "Connections" in your account.

It does work but you have to jump through a lot of hoops.

1. You both need the Epic launcher open and be friends
2. You need to connect the Steam version with Epic (only way I know is through the game's party menu outlined here:

If the browser doesn't come up then maybe antivirus or something is blocking it. Try having the browser open first with u logged into Epic.
