Alright, so this is what I found out:

- The server browser does not work on the Epic Games version
- You have to use the "find game" or "create game" feature
- Sometimes the game can't find any servers, so you have to repeat it and hope for the best - but the same happened with the Steam version too whenever there was a free weekend
- Also, on first run(s), the game opens a Epic Games website where you need to allow that the game may use things like your Epic Games username. Seems this could have an impact on the ability to join a server.

Hopefully this is the confirmation you wanted :D

Since KF2 went free on Epic, Tripwire started up several 100 new servers. I can see it on Steam's server browser and plenty of them are free, so it's definitely not a lack of servers. My guess is that something might be weird with Epic's Online services, because this has been added in the new update. By the way, I still can't forget your "more flesh than trash" comment :D

Edit: Going to test if it works for me, just needs a while until the download finishes.

Did they really add 100 new servers mate? Maybe I just wasnt reading carefully but i really cant remember where they stated it :/ Also even if they added 100 new ones it doesnt seem enough, can barely find a server to play, most are like 6 players and 3 spectators lol

Yes, they can be seen in Steam's server browser. The list is very long: https://i.imgur.com/6K6yGXc.jpg
Tripwire also mentioned it in their beta post[forums.tripwireinteractive.com]:

With the EGS launch, we’ll be expanding the capacity of our dedicated server fleet to accommodate the rush of new players.
