Setting a Lan or Private Game

Im trying to set a Lan game to play with my friend...
There seems to be no option... all we stuck with is Matchmaking, which doesnt create a match at all and just seems to search for the criteria we are setting...

Trying to search for a Lan match option but I dont seem to find it.

We are trying to do the weekly atm... and well we cant set a game for the weekly.
Gave up on that hassle and now we cant do a Lan game either.

Not this page... I remember having to deal with this sometime past year.
And screwing up the whole thing and never getting that to work.

We decided not to bother with it. On games like Payday 2, we dont have so much problems with just a set up and play. We just want it to play on the classic London map for a few hours.

it is easy dont worry. just follow the steps and it will work 100%!

the only option is to run a dedicated server. To achieve that, you have to install it via steamcmd and configure it manually.
Unfortunatley it requires a basic understanding how a dedicated server works.

I hate to whine but for a 2017 coop game this is unacceptable levels of lacking quality of life just to play a private game with a friend. My god.
