Local Multiplayer with one copy
So I just bought the game (didn't even open it up yet) and was wondering if a friend could come over and we could play together on Lan. I play from my pc and he can play from my laptop. Problem is my friend doesn't have a copy. TLDR can me and my friend play together with the same copy? probably not, are there any alternatives to split screen?

You have to buy another copy.

Dude, we are not in the 90s anymore.
Today everything is online-check protected and every player needs a limited license to use a copy of the game.
Free LAN playing with a bunch of friends by using only one legit copy?
Not in this brave new world mate :emofdr:

It would've been much simpler if split screen was supported

Problem is KF1 never had split screen. Most games are not even adding split screen that often anymore either.

But there are still some great couch co op titles for pc like dcuke game and broforce which i both enjoy and mostly play on the couch with my friends rather than online. And killing floor 2 has the potential to be a great couch co op game just chilling with your mates kicking zed ass with blood flying all over the place. Just imagine.

I do like the doozy of split screen. Sadly although, most games now are online based.
