gunslinger is OP if you know how to play with it, it has speed, good damage and slow zeds down , gunslinger is a paper at HoE but, you have speed and slow, who cares about being tough.
gunslinger is like a fast version of a sharpshooter. always in the head!
So did SS.
Gunslinger is mostly about looking and firing tough, which means basically nothing.
At least SS encourages the player to use it's skill to get better through. You become a beast when perked up high and it's worth playing no lower than HoE once you're there. The only way you'd fail is if you don't aim properly.
The argument however is that a Gun Slingers influence in a team game is easily marginalised by the synergy present within other perks, like sharpshooter.
Case en point. A Commando focusing on Trash and a Sharp focusing on Big zeds are better together than a Gun Slinger focusing on either or both. It can do the job, but it's sub optimal.
Again that's not becasue the perk is bad, it's just very secular.
As for sharp no longer being king of everything, havent got a problem with that at all.
also GS does good damage and stopping power. can't see how it sucks.
both are good. if you prefer dual handcannon, pick GS. if you prefer rifle, choose SS or commando. that's it, a variation. it's obvious isn't it?
Not a very good extensive play. More like an excuse to take away from the perk than making proper adjustments.
I'd much rather dual wield pistols and have SS-related perks. Also, rifles belong to Commando. Which now that it's brought up, the gun selection for SS has drastically dropped. There isn't really much for it anymore.
You get the railgun and the crossbow which are good ideals for SS. But, everything else listed in it are borrowed from other perks which makes no sense. Especially since dual wielding pistols have minimal effect in advancing while in Gunslinger perk when it comes to headshots than in SS.
SS defeats whatever GS does in damage and stopping power if you AIM good.
Looks like I triggered the gatekeeping elitists.
