Gunslinger sucks...
It takes too much away from Sharpshooter. Even at being a high level with this perk, there isn't really much rewarding to be found with this perk.

I like aiming for headshots, but because I'm stupid Gunslinger, I won't be advancing any quicker under this perk compared to when I was with SS with them. Most of the skill chain involving with Gunslinger BELONGS to SS, which makes it more fitting. Like "Rack 'Em Up" or "Line 'Em Up" or "Aim Steady". Why does Gunslinger have this? You're basically just wielding two guns and that's it - big whoop.

The more and more I use Gunslinger, the more and more I'm feeling like that it's a useless perk. A quickly thought up perk that offers nothing new to the table besides just for something that can be associated for the pistols. That's all that this perk has had going for it.

And let me add that, yeah, my character can reload the primary weapons, the twin 1858 Revolver pistols in seconds. But takes quite a bit of time reloading twin 1911 pistols even though it has a shorter mechanical process in reloading, in comparison. That's pretty backwards.

Just...why Gunslinger? Sharpshooter was a universal perk that focused on your aiming in the game, why isn't that more important?

are you ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ kidding right?

gunslinger is OP if you know how to play with it, it has speed, good damage and slow zeds down , gunslinger is a paper at HoE but, you have speed and slow, who cares about being tough.

gunslinger is like a fast version of a sharpshooter. always in the head!

So did SS.

Gunslinger is mostly about looking and firing tough, which means basically nothing.

At least SS encourages the player to use it's skill to get better through. You become a beast when perked up high and it's worth playing no lower than HoE once you're there. The only way you'd fail is if you don't aim properly.

Gun Slinger does not suck, it's one of the best perks for Solo play.

The argument however is that a Gun Slingers influence in a team game is easily marginalised by the synergy present within other perks, like sharpshooter.

Case en point. A Commando focusing on Trash and a Sharp focusing on Big zeds are better together than a Gun Slinger focusing on either or both. It can do the job, but it's sub optimal.

Again that's not becasue the perk is bad, it's just very secular.

As for sharp no longer being king of everything, havent got a problem with that at all.

they play very differently and they're a different kind of fun.

also GS does good damage and stopping power. can't see how it sucks.

gunslinger is an extended play of sharpshooter for kf2.
both are good. if you prefer dual handcannon, pick GS. if you prefer rifle, choose SS or commando. that's it, a variation. it's obvious isn't it?

Not a very good extensive play. More like an excuse to take away from the perk than making proper adjustments.

I'd much rather dual wield pistols and have SS-related perks. Also, rifles belong to Commando. Which now that it's brought up, the gun selection for SS has drastically dropped. There isn't really much for it anymore.

You get the railgun and the crossbow which are good ideals for SS. But, everything else listed in it are borrowed from other perks which makes no sense. Especially since dual wielding pistols have minimal effect in advancing while in Gunslinger perk when it comes to headshots than in SS.

SS defeats whatever GS does in damage and stopping power if you AIM good.

I don't think this is really gatekeeping. He is just looking at the amount time you have put into the game to see if you know what your talking about. Time is not alway correct but is a good indication to how much experience you have had in game. Based off of time I would say you don't have enough time in GS to say that it is a bad perk. It is also based off of playstyle. If it isn't your playstyle and SS is more your speed then just go with SS. Don't go bashing on other peoples perk just because you don't like it.

It's called being too lazy to come up with a real argument against OP, so just finding something that doesn't really mean anything to point at and exclaim that "I am right, you are wrong, because I said so." If we were talking politics, this would be the point where people start calling each other libtards.

Judging by OP comments so far it looks like he is looking for more of a fight or argument rather than someone to change his mind. He refutes other people comments regardless of what they tell him.

Gunslinger is OP but i have to agree on those skill that should be long to SS instead
