Is it possible to play a game with just friends?

Hi,

I was wondering, I tend to play co-op games with 3 friends. I'm trying to get them interested in KF2, but one problem they have is that they don't want to play with random folks.

I know games are hosted on servers, so would the only way to keep the game between just the 4 of us would be to host a private server, otherwise there is no way of having 1 or 2 randoms joining us?

Matchmaking-> Friends only.
If you are lucky you might find a server that has takeover enabled.
Usually it's a waste of time.

There needs to be a better way to create and host private matches amongst friends. I used to be able to use the Create Match option in the past, but that doesn't work anymore.

My friends and I prefer to play by ourselfs but now we can't. :(

My friends and I try to use the Friends Only but matchmaker isn't very good. Try to get 5 friends to play with or play with randoms, only options really. Well that or not play KF2, which is what we have been doing sadly.

KF2 doesn't support listen servers basically.

Just play with randoms. It's how you meet cool people. =)

If there's 3 of you, you can basically votekick anyone you don't like except the server admin.

It's apparently super easy to set-up. Worth a shot, in my opinion.

Matchmaking usually only does sh*ty things,like watsing your time and throwing you into some servers with high ping.U'd better set up a server yourself and make it private.Well acturally playing with others is funny too,so the best way is go find a empty server and just play.
