2 Player coop is so hard on suicidal! (may need to be looked into)
2 player coop - We are playing with level 18-20 level perks on suicidal - 10 waves. It seems impossible to get to the boss, also we never did on this difficulty. We tried different maps. And played the same ones over again. Im suggesting for this to be looked into.

Im a great first person shooter so is my brother. And we can win by ourselves on this difficulty. We won all the weeklies by ourselves even with other players. We even won suicidal - 10 waves with multiple players on suicidal on a few mpas. But when we get a 2 player coop going we make it most of the time on wave 3. The farthest we got was wave 8 and wave 10 once each. After hours of playing.

So if anyone is looking for a challenge try this.

This actually sems to be a wierd thing with player count's effect on difficulties. Solo and six man are the easiest(assuming you and your team know what they're doing), five and four are somewhat harder, three is even more difficult, and two seems to be flat out impossible if the two players aren't on point the entire time.

Indeed, the game doesn't scale down well. Alone, it applies a generous amount of noob lube, with 2 players the noob lube is omitted, yet the boss can rip one player apart fast enough for an additional player not to he enough of a save.

Indeed, 2 players is the way to go if you want the game to be challenging.
That's easily the hardest way to play KF2.

Solo probably would be harder if not for the buffed healing, but playing with 2 players you have standard healing, normal spawn rates and only 1 teammate to watch your back. I think it would be hard to change it in a way that doesn't break the difficulty with other number of players but it would be nice becasuse sometimes playing 2 players can be a pain.

Usually two players is difficult because there's enough classes on your team to deal with certain zeds.

When and doubt, zerk and medic.

Yea i was playing 2 man suicidal earlier today and was definitly thinking the same thing.

2 man is the hardest way to play the game imo. You lose all your solo buffs and the game starts thinking you have a lot of people playing, when it's only two of you. So, it usually spawns way more than it should.

With guns, the one way I've been able to get through 2 man HoE is if both of us pick perks that can crossperk medic guns, you're gonna take a lot of damage in 2 man and staying in top of that with healing darts is pretty much mandatory. Failing that, at least get a medic pistol.

Besides that, zerk/medic and zerk/zerk is instawin though I realize some people don't dig playing zerk. This is also one of the few occassions where weapon harness survivalist can shine, with just enough damage to one shot scrakes with the railgun while still being able to carry 2 shotguns for trash, one of which can be the medic shotgun which gets buffs from the survivalist medic skill.

When doing 2 player runs I weld doors. It really makes things so much easier!

But the boss still hits like a truck. I tend to abuse it's path finding with big pillars. Cuz when they attack they dont turn that well, and the pillar is also there to hide behind for ranged attacks.

That's what you're meant to do in normal boss fights too. Ideally. The most common reason why ppl die prematurely in boss is being caught in line of sight.

Well, yeah. Don't fight in a open area. But I don't rly like playing marry go round with a overly mutated doctor...

Idk a bit lame in my head.
I still do it if I have to though.

Level up to 25 and the game is never going to be hard again.
