What's the best loadout for Berserker?
Since Early access, I still mainly stick to Pulverizer. Right clicking on big zeds or big group of small zeds.
I skipped playing this for some time, thus not much idea about some new weapons, like the metal fists.

Should I get an off perk weapon, like a medic pistol for healing allies?

Zweihander + VLAD. Pulverizer's actually Berserker's worst weapon (despite being explosive and all, it's way too slow and thus bad for even Fleshpounds).

Leave Nailgun as is, fully upgrade Zweihander if nobody else on your team needs cash. More in-depth by spooky crypt (a whole series on Berserking):

I thought Pulverizer has stronger Parry power to stumble Scrakes/Fleshpounds, but Zweihander's parry power isn't bad.

What should the nailgun use against?

The saw blade weapon.. it seems still unpopular choice.

Shredding Fleshpounds as fast as possible.

Berzerker can be pretty free with loadout choices. I personally run bonecrusher+static strikers, though I also like leaning into berzerker's tank role. The eviscerator is probably the perk's most versatile weapon. The pulverizer and zwei are basicly sidegrades; the pulverizer is better against fleshpounds and crowd control with its good knockdown, while the zwei is better against scrakes and trash.

What about fighting against bosses?

Zerker alone can defeat KFP with any melee weapon. Just parry attacks and duck laser.
Abonimation mostly pukes and rarely attacks you, so you will lost a parry bonus. He deadly at melee distance without activated parry bonus.
You can melee block patriarch like it was in KF1 (he never use chaingun or rocket launcher when his target is near to close combat), but mistake may cost a life (used chaingun/rocket launcher on you without cover). I noticed that bonecrusher can block rockets and chaingun, but never tried by myself.
Hans mostly dangerous in last state when he throws only explosive grenades. At melee distance he can sometimes use deadly rapid quick melee attacks, just run away and attack again.

You can negate Patty's chaingun by hugging him (going as close as possible to him). He can't shoot you at point blank range.

Katana + eviscerator. Pretty easy with them to solo DieSector HoE wave 25, i don't even use parry.

- Katana + Med pistol for all waves except boss
- Evis for boss wave

Bone Crusher till Boss wave, then Eviscerator.
Buy Eviscerator as soon as possible on Endless.

Eviscerator unless you like dying in 30 seconds to any boss who isn't the Patriarch.

Lately, I have been using just the Pulverizer and a Medic Pistol thanks to the upgrade system. I think light attacks have also received some buffs during the Summer Sideshow update.

However, if the situation calls for a "♥♥♥♥ balance" loadout, i just roll with the Zweihander and Medic Rifle, since the Zweihander can deal with most situations, and with the help of the entire team, can deal the lion's share of damage to a Fleshpound. (Medic Rifle would be for bloats and husks, as well as healing thanks to its rather quick recharge)

I like supporting and tanking, so for me the Strikers and a medic weapon help a lot. Plus, I get to EMP large zeds to prevent their raging.
