What should the nailgun use against?
The saw blade weapon.. it seems still unpopular choice.
Abonimation mostly pukes and rarely attacks you, so you will lost a parry bonus. He deadly at melee distance without activated parry bonus.
You can melee block patriarch like it was in KF1 (he never use chaingun or rocket launcher when his target is near to close combat), but mistake may cost a life (used chaingun/rocket launcher on you without cover). I noticed that bonecrusher can block rockets and chaingun, but never tried by myself.
Hans mostly dangerous in last state when he throws only explosive grenades. At melee distance he can sometimes use deadly rapid quick melee attacks, just run away and attack again.
- Katana + Med pistol for all waves except boss
- Evis for boss wave
Buy Eviscerator as soon as possible on Endless.
However, if the situation calls for a "♥♥♥♥ balance" loadout, i just roll with the Zweihander and Medic Rifle, since the Zweihander can deal with most situations, and with the help of the entire team, can deal the lion's share of damage to a Fleshpound. (Medic Rifle would be for bloats and husks, as well as healing thanks to its rather quick recharge)
