Summer Sideshow Tracks On The OST?
Will the new music tracks for the summer sideshow be on the official soundtrack for those who bought it?

This topic is like a broken record.... there are tracks in the game that never made it into the original OST. The OST is likely never to get an update due to music licensing, so if there was ever an update, it'd very likely be an entirely new paid volume, not a free update.

I converted the ingame files to MP3, just in case they remove those files at the end of the event. They most likely won't make it to the soundtrack.

May I ask how you did that? I'd like to do it myself.
I downloaded the ww2ogg and revorb executables from there, I've put all that stuff in the same folder on my desktop:
https://www.reddit.com/r/killingfloor/comments/35d5w6/how_to_extract_game_audio_files_guide/

I opened the file WwiseDefaultBank_WW_Music_SS_2017.txt that is in my C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\killingfloor2\KFGame\BrewedPC\WwiseAudio\Windows folder.

Thhere's a section at the bottom with Streamed Audio ID that indicated which file correspond to what music.
185986973.wem = We All Float
579584069.wem = No Winners
786161505.wem = The Greatest Hell On Earth
926992439.wem = Step Right Up

I copied the .wem files (same location as the .txt) inside the folder that I've put the two executable files.

I opened my Windows console and I've put myself inside the folder where all the executables and wem files are. (cd yourPathHere)

Then for each wem files I've used this command with my console:
ww2ogg.exe nameOfTheWemFile.wem --pcb packed_codebooks_aoTuV_603.bin

After that, I dragged and dropped the .ogg files that were generated on the revorb executable.
At this point, you have .ogg files that can be read with VLC or your web browser, I just used a software to convert those .ogg files to .mp3

Ahhh thank you. Via this reply, I now have the full OST instrumental versions (without vocals). Took me more than hour to convert them all and listen through the best ones, but it was worth it!

And for anyone wondering how to convert .ogg-files, download "Switch Sound File Converter Plus". Does the job for any audio file, and I use it all the time.

Glad it helped you.
